2021 is speeding towards us and I’m starting to feel excited about weddings coming back and restrictions being gradually lifted. What a year we’ve had: things can only get brighter and happier from here! So today’s gorgeous couple Vicky & Matt’s way-before-covid wedding is as cheerful as it is beautiful (colourful paper lanterns in the ceremony room get a big YAY from me!) – and it’s one of those wonderfully authentic days full of joyful people – as every wedding should be. And of course, this fabulous day has the most amazing wedding photography by our friends at York Place Studios.

Happy weekend, lovelies! I’m so happy to be sharing this beautiful wedding editorial with you today. The florals are out of this world, the images are absolutely stunning and the mood is dreamily boho with an elegant twist. And we get two looks in one feature, with two gorgeous couples sharing the limelight on the blog today. Huge thanks to lovely Howard from Absolutephotouk for sharing this with us. There’s a full supplier list and introduction from the organiser Kay at PKay Bridal just below. Have a wonderful, relaxing weekend!

I was thrilled when lovely Debbie from Whitestem joined English Wedding back in October – and even more delighted to see this stunning wedding photoshoot in my inbox. All the greenery… it’s magical, beautifully styled and with a fabulous team of Highcliffe Castle wedding suppliers involved. The glorious greenery and luscious light shows how a small intimate wedding can still take place and look spectacular in a very large room without seeming swamped at all, but the styling would work just as well for a wedding of any size, which is what we’re all hoping for in the future!

I couldn’t resist this beauty of a shoot from our lovely English Wedding member Ayshea Goldberg Photography – the jewel tones are fabulous and the dresses divine in their sparkly glory! If you love floral design this editorial simply shines – I’ve fallen head over heels for it myself! Huge thanks to lovely Ayshea and all the creative wedding suppliers who worked alongside her to bring this glorious photoshoot to life! With love,

Today’s gorgeous couple married in the summer of 2020, and with covid restrictions limiting their choices they still had the most amazing day – it’s all beautiful. Jess found her dress at Monsoon and fell in love with it; Justin bought his suit online and loved it too – they both look fabulous. This lovely pair kept an eye on sustainability with their wedding: hiring items rather than buying, choosing candle favours from a maker who donates a % of profits to bee conservation, and donating part of their gift money to a local charity kitchen.
