What happens when you combine luxury and simplicity? Magic, that’s what! We’re thrilled to be sharing a beautiful, natural inspiration shoot with some fabulous English Wedding members today! Lovely Captured by Crissi* sent this one in, and I was so excited to see our lovely friends Whitestem and Katherine and her Camera on the team who worked so hard to create this beauty! The styling is out of this world, we’re head over heels in love with all the lush greenery, and the images are beautiful, heartfelt and full of warmth.

A number of suppliers came together at the end of August for a styled shoot photographed by me at The Orangery Suite, a beautiful wedding venue set within a three-acre walled garden just outside Wimborne Minster, Dorset. Our chosen theme, the 1950s, was reflected in the tea-length dress and make up worn by my ‘bride’ Alex, and the flowers and reception styling. Mandy from Swingletree Vintage summed up the mood when she commented that it was good after lockdown to be doing something that felt like normality.
I was thrilled when lovely Debbie from Whitestem joined English Wedding back in October – and even more delighted to see this stunning wedding photoshoot in my inbox. All the greenery… it’s magical, beautifully styled and with a fabulous team of Highcliffe Castle wedding suppliers involved. The glorious greenery and luscious light shows how a small intimate wedding can still take place and look spectacular in a very large room without seeming swamped at all, but the styling would work just as well for a wedding of any size, which is what we’re all hoping for in the future!
