How did you choose your photographer?

I loved Tracey’s candid and natural style – her photographs look happy and spontaneous! When we met she was very down-to-earth, friendly and enthusiastic which I loved.

Has September sunk in yet?! It hardly feels more than a few weeks since lockdown… and so I wanted to share this pretty spring wedding with you today. Beautiful brides Hannah and Jess tied the knot days before the world stopped in March, and their sunny, vibrant spring wedding is full of happiness and love. Images are by our friend Mark at Evolve Photography in Devon, and the florals by his lovely wife Natasha at Pumpkin & Pye! The venue is The Green Cornwall (I know, I know… we blogged another wedding there on Saturday!)

The thing about barn wedding venues is all that lovely character they have… and The Green Cornwall is one of our faves! Its walls tell a story and make a quirky backdrop for beautiful ceremonies, and Hannah & Joel’s day fits perfectly! This is a wedding full of love and joy, with the loveliest details (pom pom confetti – YES!!!) which I know you’ll love. Our gorgeous couple have shared their supplier recommendations and a happy review for our friend Alexa Poppe Photography. Congratulations Hannah & Joel, we LOVE your wedding!

For all of you lovely brides and grooms out there, I want to keep blog life as normal as possible right now: a beautiful anchor in this crazy storm we’re living this spring. (For wedding suppliers – watch this space as I’m working hard on something of a rescue package today – details to be announced soon.)

So we begin the week with Hayden & Rabia’s stunning summer wedding from Kilminorth Cottages in Looe. These two are everything: properly gorgeous, and their wedding is the most joyful celebration – as uplifting as can be! The florals are breathtaking; the styling of their day simply perfect. I hope you love today’s feature as much as I do.
