I am passionate about giving a personal and reassuring experience to every bride who seeks a bespoke wedding dress. I pride myself on really listening to my clients. I love using my breadth of experience to distil even the unformed or wide ranging ideas you might bring into a design that is obviously exactly right. My work is about you and your taste and personality.

The process starts with a free design consultation, then a quote with sketches and samples for you to compare to other options. My prices start from £1800 + fabrics so compare very favourably to other high street designers, with the added value of being unique, perfectly fitting and all about you. A toile (practice run) and then a series of private fittings ensure the finished bespoke wedding dress is perfect for your special day.

I have worked with brides of all shapes and sizes. I know how to flatter and sculpt, enhancing your best features for confidence and security. I love working with mature brides who, having worn the styles of several decades, tend to draw on a wider inspiration base than others and know how to demand perfection!

My degree in costume design informs my approach to design. I draw on my wide knowledge of the history of fashion and construction techniques of many centuries. I love to create contemporary takes on historically inspired looks as well as couture level modern and alternative design.

I take in a limited number of alterations to off the peg or vintage dresses. I love taking something that isn’t quite right and making it perfect.

I am lucky that so many brides come to me who want colourful or embellished designs. I LOVE colour. I have sample books with thousands of traditional bridal fabrics, silks, chiffons, satin and lace as well as colourful alternatives. In 2016 I created a dipdye wedding dress called ‘Phoenix’ which went viral online. This has led to many commissions for fabulous looks from subtle pastel fades to full spectrum rainbows!
