I love this article by brilliant Somerset wedding photographer Simon Biffen Photography

Your wedding day is one of the most important days in your life and of course you want to have your nearest and dearest there to celebrate it with. However, if you’re an animal lover you may well be closer to your pet than some of your relatives! The opportunity therefore to include these four legged friends in some aspect of the wedding day has been managed by those keen (or mad) enough to bring them along!

If you’re super confident having your photo taken, you can read something else instead. This one’s for the rest of us: we’re just a teeny bit nervous we’ll feel awkward having our photos taken. Am I right? You’d be surprised how many couples mention Chandler from Friends in chats with their wedding photographer… loads of us think we freeze up and go weird in front of the camera. The good news is, that’s not going to be the case for you when you’ve read this blog post. We – ie me and lovely Jordanna Marston Photography – are here for a friendly chat about how YOU can enjoy your wedding day, forget about the camera and LOVE your photos!

… because you can’t beat a llama surprise, right?! Honestly, this wedding is everything. Glowing with newly wedded happy vibes, Moran and Danny celebrate their love at Ashdown Park. Their day is magical, breathtaking, beautifully designed and brilliantly captured by our friend and English Wedding member Damion Mower Photography. Morag’s dress is exquisite, unique and different; from the fabulous Needle & Thread. The venue is oh so special – Ashdown Park is in the Ashdown forest, believed to be the inspiration for the Hundred Acre Wood (home of Winnie the Pooh!) – and the converted chapel with its stained glass windows is so enchanting all Morag & Danny had to do was add flowers – which, it has to be said, are stunning!

Hey lovelies! Did you have a wonderful weekend? Ours was a busy one celebrating my amazing stepdaughter’s birthday so I’m starting Monday feeling happily frazzled and all warm and happy inside. Today’s feature is a little different: as a blogger I’ve seen thousands of weddings from hundreds of photographers over the years, and I’m a huge admirer of the craftsmanship and skill of wedding photographers. I was chatting with Sussex wedding photographer and friend of English Wedding Martin Beddall a few weeks ago, and he very kindly agreed to do a little interview for me. His answers give a fascinating insight into reportage photography – one of my favourite wedding photography styles and one I’d love for all of you to consider for your weddings! I hope you enjoy reading this: of course all of the stunning images are by Martin Beddall Photography.

Happy Monday, lovelies! Are you looking for a little escape from all the pre-Christmas busy-ness out there? Because I have the perfect thing: a wonderfully relaxed and romantic, flower- and plant-filled wedding at The Great House, Sonning – and our gorgeous newlyweds Will & Karis who told me all about their best day ever! The images are glorious – they are by our friend and English Wedding member Damion Mower Photography, and the capture the beauty and spirit of the day so very, very well. As you might know, we ask all of our English Wedding couples to give an honest review of their favourite wedding suppliers, and Karis and Will’s review for Damion is just brilliant! I’ve included it at the top of the post for you today. All other suppliers are listed at the end of the feature, with some great tips from the happy couple on who to book for YOUR Berkshire wedding!
