Happy weekend, my lovelies! I’m busy teaching a modern calligraphy workshop at the fabulous Little Paper Shop in Nantwich, Cheshire today (head over to my insta @bymoonandtide for behind the scenes pics!) but of course I saved up something wonderful to share on English Wedding while I’m there! Senel from Bride and Belle and lovely Eva Tarnok used the history of Chiswick House as a basis of the inspiration for this wonderfully feminine and romantic, classic bridal editorial.
Today’s wedding style edit from Thyme Lane Photography is one of those that make my toes tingle for how perfect it all is. The tone is moodily beautiful, with boho elegant styling in a lovely English country house. The venue – Lanwades Hall, which is hidden in the Suffolk countryside – has the most stunning rooms with beautiful light and large gardens, and the team truly made the most of the amazing location.
The shoot shows how an almost completely monochrome, minimal scheme can work in a venue like Lanwades Hall and still create a lot of interest by giving contrast to the rich colours of the great variety of backdrops.

I hope you’re having an easy day 🙂 It’s miserable up here in the Lakes (although I’m happily submerged in calligraphy work – yay!), so I’m delighted to be filling our screens with joyful colour and a light and fragrant summer wedding edit today. The florals are just STUNNING – and I’m totally in love with the Watters Wtoo gown with all its sparkle and swishiness!
