The Elvetham is a magnificent Hampshire country house with 35 acres of beautiful grounds and gardens. Photo opportunities are everywhere at this stunning wedding venue, with a variety of quintessentially English, quaint and luxurious locations to enjoy. Having hosted royalty over the decades, the Elvetham is renowned for quality and luxury events. Today’s bridal shoot shows perfectly how a few beautifully designed, carefully curated pieces can combine to make the most elegant and impressive wedding style. The flowers, cake and stationery are all simply wonderful – and the dress is divine!

Today’s wedding inspiration comes from the beautiful venue of South Farm in Cambridgeshire. Styling is rustic luxe with a focus on sustainability, incorporating organic fabrics, a vegan cake and ethically sourced glassware, all curated by lovely Janine at Waterfall Wedding Decor.
It’s becoming more and more viable to have a sustainable and vegan wedding in 2019 and beyond. Suppliers are switching on to sustainability more than ever before, and in every category from cake designers to stationers, wedding dress makers and caterers you WILL find a wonderful, ethical supplier if you put in a little research.
Happy Friday, beautiful! While I’m off teaching another modern calligraphy class down in Manchester today, I have this beauty of a feature to share with you on the blog. It comes from enchanting Gloucestershire wedding venue Pauntley Court, which is a family home now being offered to couples as an exclusive use wedding venue. Pauntley Court is reputedly the birthplace of Dick Whittington and is set in glorious countryside with its own stunning formal gardens. As you’ll see from the photos, this is a quintessentially English venue, perfect for weekend weddings.
