Some of my absolute favourite things are happy can’t-stop-smiling couples, brilliant reviews for my favourite people, and discovering new wedding folks who just sound amazing. We have ALL of these things on the blog today thanks to lovely bride and groom Sarah and Tommy. They married at Holdenby House in Northamptonshire, and chose our friend and English Wedding member Damien Vickers Photography to capture their day. Today’s gorgeous couple Janna & Seb were married when pandemics were made up things in films, and the joy and freedom of their day is a delight to see! I’m completely in denial of the blustery Monday outside my window and 100% smitten with today’s STUNNING festival wedding on the blog. I do love to begin a week with a wedding to knock your socks off, and I think we’ve really nailed it today with our gorgeous couple Charlotte & Will. Their day combines rustic styling touches with elegant looks for the bride and groom – their tipi reception is absolutely lovely; the top table with their children is a joy (I love this idea!) – and the florals in white with oodles of greenery are just exquisite. We’ve lots of love for English Wedding member Mamad at Twig & Vine Photography who has captured their day beautifully. Have a lovely Monday everyone!
Oodles of craft projects and personal touches for a stunning Cambridgeshire wedding. Sophie is sooo beautiful and Craig looks fab in a relaxed country style suit. There are swing boats and paper lanterns, stunning florals (we do love those dahlias!) and lots of vintage touches for this travel theme wedding. It’s wonderful to see a late summer wedding from 2019… let’s keep everything crossed for events like this later in 2021! People say your wedding will go in a blur, there’s so much going on. It’s true! You might plan every moment carefully and take time out for just the two of you, but still on the day your wedding will be a whirlwind. It’s the most incredibly happy hurricane of a day you could ever imagine, but still it goes at a hundred miles an hour, and everything happens all at once.
So capturing the moments is a precious thing indeed.
