A guest blog by acoustic wedding singer Matthew Stephens

I decided to write a little piece detailing the potential options for couples during their first dance. Aaaaand, I’m starting to wish I hadn’t! There are so many options that you could honestly write a book about it. Are you feeling overwhelmed planning your wedding? You’re not alone, it’s more common than you think.  There’s so much to oversee in the run-up to the big day that most couples feel some stress and anxiety through their wedding planning process.

According to Google search analysis, many more couples are looking to reduce the time it takes to plan a wedding. Since the beginning of 2022, we’ve seen average monthly searches for ‘planning a wedding in six months’ more than triple.

Being the real, authentic version of YOU is everything – especially online. And when we’re looking for wedding photographers, it’s huge. I don’t know about you, but when I go to a wedding supplier’s website the first thing I look for is the About page. I want to see the face behind the business – especially when it comes to wedding photographers.

There are thousands of blogs about how to choose a wedding photographer. Most are written from the photographer’s point of view, and full of helpful tips. Loads of wedding photographers have a blog with advice on choosing a photographer on their own websites.
