This blog is inspired by Sheffield photographer Tom Hodgson’s article ‘Preserving the Magic of your Wedding day

As you’re swept up in the excitement of wedding planning, it can mean everything:

– to have a unique and amazing day
– to make your wedding memorable

We know loads of you will be focused on giving your guests a day to remember and a party they’ll remember for years to come!

And there’s more! Loads of you will be dreaming of creating a day the two of you will remember forever.

Elegant florals in lush green and white, a stunning couple and the loveliest of images – we’re starting September in style! Hannah & Danny’s wedding at The Oakwood at Ryther is absolutely glorious. The styling touches are spot on; the happy couple look amazing and the atmosphere is everything. The lovely pair chose wedding photographer Joss Denham to capture their day. They gave him a glowing review – keep scrolling to read it!

The most memorable weddings are those which are absolutely YOU. Charlie and Lucy’s personalities shine through the photos of their day: bursting with life and love, colourful and fun with a fabulous sense of humour. The happy pair chose Chelsea Physic Garden as their wedding venue, and top London wedding photographers York Place Studios to capture their day.

I get a real sense of excitement from these photos. There’s an authenticity that makes the moments feel closer, as though I’m there in the moment with every picture. I’ve said many times how much I love real documentary wedding photography for the atmosphere it brings to every shot. I can imagine these two leafing through their wedding album in twenty years time and being transported right back to the wedding day: it all feels so real!

Here’s a few photos to show you what I do as a wedding calligrapher!
