Morning lovelies! When this bridesmaids special landed in my inbox I thought it was a really sweet idea to share. Wedding days are special from the moment you wake up, and for those of you starting the day with your best girls you’ll make some really special memories for you all to treasure. Here’s a lovely reminder of what you all have to look forward to! This was sent in by hair and make up artist Kate Waller, who is based in Kent.

With love,

The morning of the wedding (for bridesmaids everywhere, with love) (6)

Hey lovelies, how are you feeling after yesterday’s update? For me #stayathome still seems like the only possible way we can keep our loved ones safe – patience is the way to get there. Anyway… I have the loveliest wedding to share with you today. It’s a treat to be able to share these little reminders of ‘normal’ life: and Emma & Giles’s day had so many beautiful moments that make me smile. Their wedding style is classic and timeless, with some pretty personal touches (the little heather place settings are so cute!) and glorious images by our friends at Evolve Photography in Devon.

As today is my #lockdownbirthday I wanted to share something REALLY special – this stunning editorial by my lovely friend Jo Bradbury. Jo’s a super talented wedding photographer whose romantic editorial style I am head over heels in love with. And as I can’t escape to a French chateau for an idyllic birthday treat in real life, I’m loving that these images take me there virtually!

Have a wonderful day everyone,

French chateau romance, with Jo Bradbury Photography (3)

I’m missing writing calligraphy so much! Here are some of my favourite wedding calligraphy ideas for all of you 2021 couples out there. If you haven’t seen this side of me, as well as writing English Wedding I love to pick up my dippy ink pots and nibs and write handcrafted wedding stationery. I’ve been incredibly lucky over the last few years to work alongside some incredible creatives: photographers, stylists and of course my super talented illustrator friend, lovely Amy Swann.

I bloody love this wedding – it’s full of love and laughter and FUN and hugs. There are belly laughs, there are beautiful styling touches. The setting is fabulous and the story of the day makes me smile. Oh, and Nicola and Alex are the most gorgeous couple! This is exactly how I imagine weddings after lockdown to be: the most amazing celebrations full of glorious contact and friendship and happiness. And the photos by super lovely (and major talented) Yorkshire wedding photographer John Hope tell the story of Nicola and Alex’s day beautifully.
