I had an email in my inbox earlier this week that really hit a nerve. For one, it was all about how brides could save money on wedding stationery. No mention of grooms, completely ignoring the fact that not all weddings have a bride. It takes a second to make emails inclusive – and always makes me feel a little sad when I get emails which aren’t inclusive.
The email went on to unveil some industry secrets – or as I’d put it, propagate some wedding myths. Namely, the one about suppliers charging more for anything with ‘wedding’ in the name.
When it comes to weddings, every detail matters — and the jewellery you choose should be just as special as the day itself. At Emma Rose Jewellery, we’re delighted to unveil our new Crystal Coloured Jewellery Collection: a kaleidoscope of shimmering teardrop necklace and earring sets, lovingly designed for the modern bridal party.
Whether you’re styling your bridesmaids, gifting the mother of the bride, or creating a custom look for a destination “I do,” our vibrant new pieces add just the right touch of colour, sparkle, and sentiment.

I wonder if we’re being subtly steered towards the use of AI for everything wedding. At the top of almost any Google search result in 2025 is an AI overview. When, out of curiosity, I asked ‘how to write wedding vows‘, Google’s AI threw up a detailed breakdown of what to include, recommending that I ‘write from the heart’ and ‘be authentic’, following up with notes on structure and where to find more inspiration online. Oh, the irony…
At least it stopped short of asking me if I wanted it to help by writing vows for me.
A beautiful, elegant and traditional wedding for today – and this truly is special. Charlotte and Adam are a stunning couple and their day feels tranquil and joyful – a laid back and graceful wedding. Their review for luxury wedding photographer Damien Vickers, who’s based in Cambridge, says more than I ever could about the images, which are perfection. I love that Charlotte and Adam’s ceremony was at 5pm – which worked wonderfully for the light in their wedding photos and is a really lovely time for a wedding, adding to the sense of serenity of their day.
If your English summer is on the unpredictable side, allow us to share some sunshine with you! I adored this playful and colourful inspiration when it landed in my inbox – the flowers are incredible and every photo feels like summer. An utterly beautiful way to style a wedding which would work in any space from a barn to a tipi to a country house. Huge thanks to lovely Danielle from Blotted Ink Photography for sharing it with us!
