Where to begin!! I really cannot put into words how impressed we have been with Matt and how happy we are that we chose to “work” with him as our wedding photographer.

From the start of researching photographers, we knew we wanted Matt. From his website design through to first contact, we just got a great trusting feel for him. Without any prior discussion, my mum had also picked Matt out as someone she thought we should consider!!

From start to finish, Matt has been professional, friendly, organised and sincere. You really get the feeling with Matt that you aren’t just another couple to him, he genuinely cares about the couples he works with and wants to do the best job for them!

On the day of our wedding, Matt and Giles were a pleasure to have around, they fit into the wedding like family. Matt offered to help with extra tasks on the morning to make it run smoothly. He regularly checked in with me to see how I was feeling which, in the chaos of a wedding morning, I really appreciated someone checking in on me.

Following the ceremony, Matt’s patience really shone through!!! It is no easy task organising excited friends and family but Matt was outstanding at this. He was polite, friendly and respectful to guests an achieved all of the photos we had asked for, which was no easy task!

Following our wedding day, Matt emailed the next morning and advised of what the next steps would be. His communication throughout has been fantastic. Then came our photos, WOW. We are so impressed with the photos Matt has take and we absolutely love them!! He captured some incredidble moments and I was soo pleased to be able to share the photographs with with friends and family. Everyone who has seen them has commented on how amazing the photographs are. We really couldn’t have asked or wished for better.

We really cannot thank Matt enough, he has been a pleasure to work with from start to finish and his work really does speak for itself! A month after our wedding, and our family and friends are still talking about how wonderful Matt was, as a photographer and as a person.Thank you Matt!!

Your best wedding moment or memory

The moment the curtains opened, my Dad by side, seeing Aiden for the first time that day, my favourite song playing and surrounded my all our loved ones. It really doesn’t get any better than that!! Just before the curtain opened – I said to the wedding team that I wish I could bottle that moment and that feeling up, it’s something I will never forget.

We feel so lucky to have worked with Matt Moore and Shane on our wedding day. Two of the nicest guys we have ever met. Shane was incredible from start to finish, down to earth, professional and friendly. Him and Matt (photographer) worked so well together on the day, they had never met before and you wouldn’t have known! they worked together as one team to ensure all the moments were captured on photo and or video. Shane blended into the wedding like a guest we really didn’t know he was there he put us at so much ease! The video itself is outstanding, we’ve laughed and we’ve cried watching it. the moments captured by Shane are beautiful and something we really will treasure forever.

Peak Edge Hotel

We hadn’t heard of Peak Edge as a wedding venue, it was somewhere we heard by word of mouth…. and we were so glad we did! Once having been for the first initial meeting, we both got in the car and said that was where we wanted to get married, it was perfect for us! The views are stunning, we LOVED the Oak Room and the views on to the field!

Tell us a little about your outfits – both of you!

My Dress – Essence of Australia from Wedding HQ – one of the first dresses I tried on but still continued to look but nowhere compared to Wedding HQ., Susie and Lauren were AMAZING and their selection of dresses and customer service far exceeded anywhere else I went.

Aiden’s suit was Cavan from Blidworth Menswear – amazing service by the team there and a great selection of suits.

Touch of Charm

We have been blown away from the very beginning by this company. They went above and beyond what we ever expected! Every time we walked in to their shop, we were made to feel welcome and you put us all at ease, nothing was ever too much. We could tell they genuinely cared about the couples getting married (and their families!) and strive to make their day perfect. Our flowers looked absolutely incredible and even more stunning than I had pictured them in my head, we LOVED them so much so, I’m having them dried to keep. It really is no wonder that touch of charm are growing the way they are and I am so pleased they are getting the recognition they deserve. The team work so hard!

Cake maker name + review

Aiden’s mum made our cake!!! She did an incredible job!!!! The cake looked and tasted amazing, we are so grateful to her for all the time, work and effort she put in to making our cake.

Stationery maker’s name + review

Sienna Mai – I am so pleased with he stationary from Sienna Mai. The invites and stationary were perfect and we were so pleased with the outcome. Communication with the seller was fantastic, quick to respond to any queries and always happy to help and work with us.

Any crafty projects or homemade styling touches?

My mum made bags up for the children which were adorable! These included toys, notebooks, pencils, crayons and activity books.She even bought each child little bear as a keep sake with a little wood heart attached with “H&A” on and the date!

Lottie’s Bakery made our amazing biscuits as favours – she deserves a special mention, we loved them!

Wedding readings?

My Brother read “Here’s to right now” along with my niece, Verity (one of our flower girls) who has just turned 2. She joined in part way through the reading- adorable and a memory we will treasure forever!!!!

First dance song? Playlist recommendations?

Our DJ Sheffield Wedding DJ created our first dance for us. He did a mix of September initially an acoustic version by Blame Jones and then into the original by Earth, wind and fire. We aren’t big dancers at all so wanted to get everyone on the dance floor ASAP!

Hair + makeup name + review

Hair was by Keeley Harrod – Keely is incredible!!!! Keeley stayed to help even when everyones hair was done and helped me get into my dress, helped with my veil and my hair piece. She even helped tidy the room for the photographers. Keeley went above and beyond for us and we are so grateful! I absolutely LOVED my hair, Keeley worked with me and gave my different options and choices to ensure I was happy with how my hair would look.

Make up Chalice Florence – I kept saying I wish Chelcie could do my make up every day!! Everyone looked amazing!! Chelcie listened to what we all wanted to ensure everyone felt comfortable and happy with their make up. it was a real pleasure to have both Chalice and Keeley with us on the morning!

I’d really like to mention: Beauty by Amy Corr – Who did all my wedding preparation: nails, facial, and Kate at Beauty Essence who did my spray tan.
