How to get married with the cost of living crisis

It’s 11:01 on a Tuesday morning… exactly 1 minute after I wanted to hit publish on this blog post! And I’m only on the second sentence…
But here’s the thing: this is a topic I don’t want to rush into. We’re all worried about the winter months, and I know some of you are in a really tight spot and scared for the future. I hear you. The cost of living crisis isn’t something a wedding blog can chat about in a lighthearted way.
So. Before we get into this blog post I’d like to ask how the cost of living crisis is making you feel.
Are you having a smaller wedding to help reduce your spend?
Perhaps you’re doing things a little differently to avoid overspending on your wedding day?
How will a looming recession impact your wedding plans?
Are you making changes to your day because of the financial crisis?
We’ll publish a feature in the next month or so but in the meantime, please get in touch and share your stories.
You can email contactenglishwedding@gmail.com or contact us on insta @englishweddingblog
If you’d rather be anonymous when we publish the feature, please say so and we won’t use your name.
In the meantime, this amazing wedding story by Nell Frizzell is a breath of fresh air which we hope will inspire you!
All images in this feature are by Kent wedding photographer Benjamin Toms, from Lisa & Duncan’s unconventional and beautiful beach wedding in Margate.
