Molly & Robbie’s relaxed wedding in Cornwall, with Tracey Warbey Photography

Published by Claire Gould on

Glorious blue seas, sunny skies… this is a dream of a UK beach wedding with all the summer vibes we LOVE! Gorgeous couple Molly & Robbie were married at Carbis Bay, with lovely grasses and dried floral details, in a beautiful hotel setting.

“My mum was my wedding planner she did absolutely everything and was amazing.

Our wedding wasn’t actually postponed by the pandemic but actually the G7 summit as our original date was on that weekend it was held at the venue!”

Were you pleased with your wedding photographer? Do tell… we love a brilliant review!

We found Tracey on instagram. She was AMAZING, she made us feel so at ease and blended into the whole day, our phots are so natural and she captured real unposed and meaningful moments perfectly

Tell us about your venue – what made this place special for you?

Carbis bay hotel. The view is breathtaking. we got engaged in cornwall and I grew up visiting grandparents every summer here, my grandads ashes are also scattered here

Did you love wearing your outfits? How was your shopping experience, was it fun to find your wedding gear?

Robbie had his suit made bespoke as he wanted a double breasted blazer which wasn’t an available option. i went into the bridal store with a dress in mind and this dress ended up  being the dress i wore so i knew exactly what style i wanted! its was a wilderly bride dress.

Did you hire a florist? Tell us about any floral amazingness

our florist was AMAZING! she was a local business where we live in Blackpool and we had dried bespoke bouquets, button holes and table pieces. my daughter also has a hoop and clips in her hair to match.

As cake lovers here at English Wedding we’d LOVE to know who made your cake, and how delicious it was?

our cake was STUNNING and even the planner at the venue said it was one of the best she’d ever tasted! Beatrice kitty wedding cakes

Tell us about any special personal touches, or creative projects you made yourselves

we had activity boxes for the kids, hand painted and written (all by my mum and dad) pebbles collected from Cornwall beaches from previous visits. A Photo and candles dedicated to our grandparents that were no longer with us

What was your first dance song? Why did you choose it?

our first dance song was etta james at last. Robbie chose this song as he waited a while for me to go out with him!
