Jessica Turner Designs trunk show: Marlborough, 9th – 11th July 2021

Published by Claire Gould on

We have some exciting wedding dress news for you today – lovely English Wedding member Jessica Turner Designs‘ “Where the Wild Things Grow” collection will be visiting & Wolf Bridal in Marlborough this coming weekend!

The small collection on show will include a few different styles, modern with a bohemian twist, flared sleeves, frills, illusion back details and plunging v necklines, daring yet striking designs. Jessica’s aim is to not make brides feel overwhelmed by choice, in line with her belief that less is more and that it is better for the environment to not over produce.

By designing sustainable wedding dresses, Jessica touches on the importance of creating designs that are kinder to the environment. She lines all her dresses with an organic cotton or a bamboo which feels amazing against the skin. Jessica also uses peace silk chiffons, which is a non-violent process of silk breeding and harvesting.

Jessica has also added a new edition to the collection, a dress made from an eco crepe fabric which feels and acts similar to a silk crepe, it has either a matt or shiny side. The fabric is made from cellulose, “linters of cotton” – i.e. waste from the cotton spinning with a GRS certificate. There are no photos of this dress as it will be an exclusive, with brides who visit the boutique this weekend being the first to see it!

If you’re a bride who cares about the environment, and likes dresses that have romantic floaty vibe and bohemian styles with a modern edge, then this is a dream opportunity for you – don’t miss it!

On the day of the trunk show Jessica is offering free split sizing, so if you have a different size top and bottom this is ideal! Also she is offering a free bride bunny to the first three that purchase a dress, and to everyone a £5 tree planting donation.

Appointments are essential: please contact Jessica or & Wolf Bridal for more information

Hi, I'm Claire, the editor of English Wedding. I've been sharing real weddings, planning advice and styled editorials by amazing wedding suppliers for more than ten years. As a supplier myself, I launched English Wedding as a platform for UK wedding businesses to stay visible online, publishing their beautiful work in a meaningful way - because I see how deeply suppliers care about everything they do. English Wedding has evolved to support a slower, more sustainable kind of visibility for wedding suppliers. Being published here protects your brand voice while helping couples discover your business, building trust through consistent features over time.
