Dan & Alicia’s gloriously non traditional festival wedding, with Rachel Burt Photography
If I could feature a non-traditional wedding like this every single day, I would! The joyful air of celebration, the colour, the smiles, the fun from the very beginning until the very last sparkler twinkles out… and the cutest pooches on the planet! It’s all here. It’s wedding blog heaven, right here, today, and it’s all for you! Gorgeous bride and groom Alicia and Dan married last summer and their festival wedding is EPIC. The photos speak for themselves – but keep scrolling to find out all about their day including some brilliant Fieldgood Bar wedding suppliers for you to jot down.

How did you choose your photographer?
Rachel popped up on a Facebook advert and we just fell in love with her style of photography.
Were you pleased with your wedding photographer? Do tell… we love a brilliant review!
We were lucky enough to have Rachel and her lovely husband Mike photographing our special festival weekend. They both put us completely at ease as soon as we met them and you didnât even know they were there taking photos they just felt like our friends. The moments she captured blew us away and every time we spend an evening looking back at our photos we really feel like we are back in the field reliving our wedding, they are amazing.

Fieldgood bar in Bath.
We had been to a wedding celebration here a year before we got married and both just fell in love with the relaxed festival vibe. From the beautiful views with a sunset to the camping and firepit we booked our wedding date the following Week and never even looked at another venue.
Annie was amazing and did everything she could to make it the day we wanted she helped us set everything up as well.
Did you love wearing your outfits? How was the dress / suit shopping experience?
I fell in love with a bridal jumpsuit from whistles so never went dress shopping. We did nothing traditional!
Dans suit was from ASOS.
Did you hire a florist? Tell us about any floral amazingness

Did my bouquet and table flowers.
Did you hire a wedding planner?
We planned and decorated everything ourselves with the help from Annie from the fieldgood bar.
As cake lovers here at English Wedding we’d LOVE to know who made your cake, and how delicious it was?
Again not traditional. We did a wedding bake off and our guests all brought home made cakes and we did prizes for the best ones.- everyone really made a massive effort and there were some amazing cakes it was so much fun!
Tell us about any special personal touches, or creative projects you made yourselves
The wedding bake off – there were lots of sausage dog themed cakes as we have two sausage dogs.
We had a glitter bar table where everybody covered themselves in glitter.
I am a dog walker and a few of my doggy friends came to see us and loved running around the field and all the attention.

A field of corn is such a fantastic backdrop to photos at a wedding (or any other occasion for that matter). That’s a very lucky addition, and with the landscape behind too it is a winner.
