We’re looking for last summer’s beautiful weddings!

Published by Claire Gould on

In these crazy, scary times, we’re doing everything we possibly can to keep your screens full of beautiful wedding ideas, and to help support all of the wedding photographers and other UK wedding suppliers to shine online and fill their diaries for 2021 and beyond. While weddings are going to be thin on the ground this summer, we’re really keen to share YOUR best bits from 2019 – so whether you’re a wedding stylist with a shoot to share, or a photographer with a real wedding you’d like us to blog, please get in touch!

If you’ve never had your work featured on English Wedding before, read my article about getting published on wedding blogs. The weddings and styled shoots I love to feature are beautifully photographed, with creative ideas and inspiration to share with the brides and grooms reading the blog. Details are a BIG deal – but it’s about the moments too. You’ll win my heart with stunning golden hour images, couple shots, and creative decor and styling.

How to submit your wedding for a blog feature

If you’re a bride or groom, please ask your photographer to get in touch. Give them the link to my submissions page.

Photographers, please ask your couple for permission to publish their wedding on the English Wedding Blog before you submit images. Then email me info@english-wedding.com with:

  1. A brief introduction to the wedding. What makes it wonderful and inspiring? Tell me a little about the venue too, and any other suppliers involved in the day.
  2. A link to a Dropbox folder containing 60ish of your most beautiful, bloggable images. Please note I ONLY use Dropbox for submissions; no other file sharing service.
  3. Images should be 900px wide (not longest edge! Even portrait orientation images need to be this width). Please send lots of detail images (flowers, stationery, venue styling) and couple portraits.
  4. I’ll send you a link to my interview form for your couple to complete. (If they choose not to, it’s ok – we can still publish so long as you have their permission.)

I’ll also need your website and social media handles if you’d like us to include these in your feature.
