Madeleine & Andrew’s elegant autumn wedding at Hedsor, with Katherine Yiannaki Photography
Gorgeous couple Madeleine and Andrew celebrated their wedding at Hedsor House in Buckinghamshire in November. Theirs was an elegant autumnal English wedding packed full of personal touches, with black tie dress for the boys and our stunning bride in a classic and beautiful Suzanne Neville dress, purchased from Ellie Sanderson in Beaconsfield. The flowers are warm, colourful and perfectly arranged; the photographs of their day just exquisite – they’re by Katherine Yiannaki Photography.
Wedding photographer’s website:
How did you choose your photographer?
We loved Katherines classic yet relaxed style of photography. She was recommended through a family friend
Were you pleased with your wedding photographer? Do tell… we love a brilliant review!
Absolutely- Katherine was great to have around on the day, making Andy and I feel really relaxed. It really helped that she included a pre wedding shoot as part of her package so we could get used to the camera and made it run really smoothly on the day. The shots are beautiful and timeless, and we shall treasure them forever
Tell us about the moment you saw your wedding photos for the first time?
Amazing to re live the day- Katherine really captured the emotions of the day and it made us both feel so happy
Where did you find your suppliers? (Blogs, magazines, recommendations?)
Recommendations from Hedsor House & local suppliers
What’s your top tip for saving money?
Don’t hire fancy transport- we used nice cars from family friends to get to the church and pimped Andrews classic car to drive off after the ceremony- personal and completely free!
… and which elements of your wedding are you glad you spent more on?
The venue- it made the day so memorable
Where did you buy or source your wedding stationery – or was making it a labour of love?
We made it ourselves, so completely personal
Did you fall in love with your wedding dress?
Yes the moment I put it on I knew it was for me. I loved the classic lace combined with the fitted corset top. I felt like a princess for the day!
