When modern styling meets a truly historic backdrop… there really is nothing better. Today’s shoot comes from the heart of Oxford, with a super creative collaboration of wedding suppliers who transformed the space into something truly special. Thank you lovely Katie (Katie Lou Weddings) for sending in this submission for our blog – we are in LOVE with this look! There’s a full supplier list just below. Over to Katie!

Gorgeous couple Madeleine and Andrew celebrated their wedding at Hedsor House in Buckinghamshire in November. Theirs was an elegant autumnal English wedding packed full of personal touches, with black tie dress for the boys and our stunning bride in a classic and beautiful Suzanne Neville dress, purchased from Ellie Sanderson in Beaconsfield. The flowers are warm, colourful and perfectly arranged; the photographs of their day just exquisite – they’re by Katherine Yiannaki Photography.

We loved Katherines classic yet relaxed style of photography. She was recommended through a family friend

Happy Sunday, beautiful! How’s your weekend going? I forgot to tell you – we spent last night at The Wordsworth in Grasmere, a gorgeous spot for a wedding – so waking up this morning was absolute bliss! I’ll tell you all about it later in the week 🙂 For today though, something VERY special. We’ve been chatting to the wedding & events team at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford recently – it’s a breathtaking and wonderfully unique wedding venue with a stunning balance of contemporary architecture and historic backdrops – half a million years of art and history, to be precise! Today we’re sharing a bridal photoshoot at the Ashmolean, so you can see the place for yourselves… isn’t it incredible?!
