Today’s wedding is elegant and timeless, with styling touches which are perfectly on trend, and images which take my breath away. The gorgeous bride and groom are Isabella and Paul, who met seven years go. Paul proposed at Christmas, and the wedding happened in March… with just 3 months to plan everything I think they did an amazing job!
Isabella wears a stunning Rosa Clara Couture wedding dress, which she bought from The Wedding Atelier in London. Paul’s son gave Isabella away, and their daughters (in stunning green gowns) were the bridesmaids.
The old Rolls Royce Isabella arrived in actually belonged to Paul’s grandfather. He used to go to the beach with his grandparents when he came on holiday to the UK years ago – Paul is actually from Canada, and the maple leaves on the place cards are a nod to his home country. Other place cards had an oak leaf for England.
Photographer Martin Dabek told me a little about the venue:
“The Bath Assembly Rooms is the most popular and elegant wedding venue in Bath. Isabella and Paul’s ceremony took place in the Great Octagon room and their wedding breakfast and reception took place in the Tea Room. It’s a fabulous celebration space with original fireplaces, a double columned balcony and three fabulous crystal chandeliers. The room has a fabulous history – in the eighteenth century concerts and refreshments took place here, and the price of interval tea was included in the cost of a ball ticket.”
