A very warm welcome to lovely Helen England Photography, Kent!

Published by Claire Gould on

It’s the loveliest thing to meet all the creative folks in the wedding industry, and while Helen England lives down in Kent and I’m up in the Lake District, I feel as though I know her from her little introduction video on YouTube. Seriously – all wedding people should do this – it’s ace. We’ll show you in a moment! Helen has joined English Wedding this month, but many of you will already know her from the weddings and shoots we’ve published in the past. I love her style and approach, and I really hope you will too!

As a Kent wedding photographer I aspire to deliver beautiful, creative photographs that faithfully capture the story of your wedding day. But more than that, I create photographs that make people happy! Through my work, you’ll be able to relive the romance, excitement, energy and happiness of your wedding day – not just for now but for many years to come. My couples are relaxed, laid back and completely nuts about each other. They’re fun-loving and are planning a wedding that’ll be shared with their favourite people in all the world. They want a photographer who completely gets them, and will create a beautiful collection of photographs that perfectly capture the magic, emotion and spirit of their day.

I am known and loved for my relaxed approach, boundless enthusiasm and natural, soft documentary photography. My creative style centres around an unobtrusive reportage approach, with creative portrait photos and a minimal number of posed group shots. I love love love lots of natural light and bright colours with a soft, gentle and romantic edge. I absolutely adore images that are natural, relaxed, and gorgeously pretty. I love capturing natural expression, romance and emotion.

I love beautiful light and people who love to laugh. I photograph people who are completely nuts about each other, and people having a brilliant time. It’s my job to capture the full story of your day: the big moments as well as all the not-so-big in-between moments that matter just as much. My style is relaxed, natural and authentic, and captures real moments as they unfold. I embrace natural light and bright colours with a soft, gentle and romantic edge.

Just as each couple is completely unique, so is the way you might like your wedding to be photographed. I’m happy to cover as much of your day as you’d like me to – from the bridal preparations to the first dance and beyond. I offer different packages to suit you and I like to offer as much flexibility to my couples as possible.

I’ve been a wedding photographer for 14 years and have photographed hundreds of beautiful weddings, from intimate and rustic country weddings to exotic destination weddings. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer, and you like what you see, I’d love to hear from you!
