Hey lovelies, how are you today? Is it just me or is there something a little exciting in the air? It’s the end of term… summer holidays, and around this time of year I still look forward to 6 fabulous weeks of playing in the sunshine! Oh, also – wedding season!!! Most of you will be getting married in the summertime, so now’s the time to go explore your venues, see which flowers are in bloom, take a picnic and dream of your best day ever – which will be here before you know it! Hi, Special Day Wedding Photos is run by me, Anthony, and I am a wedding photographer based in beautiful North Devon.

I work as a documentary style wedding photographer which basically means your day can unfold naturally without any interference from me.

My style has evolved over time. Initially I started as a documentary photographer, then my style changed, and now I’m back to straight documentary, with the occasional posed shot if my couples ask. Documentary is where I thrive and where all my energy and enjoyment sit.

What I really love about being a documentary wedding photographer is the anticipation of the unknown. Anything can happen at any time and I just love being able to capture those unexpected, special moments.
