Hey lovelies, how are you today? Is it just me or is there something a little exciting in the air? It’s the end of term… summer holidays, and around this time of year I still look forward to 6 fabulous weeks of playing in the sunshine! Oh, also – wedding season!!! Most of you will be getting married in the summertime, so now’s the time to go explore your venues, see which flowers are in bloom, take a picnic and dream of your best day ever – which will be here before you know it! And if you just happen to be in Devon, and you just happen to be looking for a brilliant Devon wedding photographer… then I would like to introduce you to someone I think is pretty damn amazing.
Emily & Andrew’s “accidentally 50s tea party styled” wedding is just wonderful! It’s the loveliest mix of quirky and fun, with gorgeous styling and details and the most beautiful bride and handsome groom! The fab couple were married just outside Taunton in Somerset. Emily got ready at her home which was right next door to the church, and after the ceremony everyone travelled by vintage bus over to Mount Somerset Hotel for the celebrations. The venue is just fabulous: a 19 bedroom Regency country house set in four acres of beautiful grounds.
So many people have opinions of what our wedding “should” be. We spent an evening early on with a bottle of wine, pen and paper and drew our dream wedding. The more wine the better the ideas! But actually looking back we got nearly every element into our wedding and it was exactly what we wanted and it reflected us.
