Håvard and Stine’s spellbinding elopement shoot in Northern Norway, with Steve Fuller Photography

How is your Monday going? Would you like to see something really beautiful? As those of you who follow my calligraphy instagram will know, my favourite place is outside. The more breathtaking the location, the happier I am – and so today’s elopement shoot has my heart.

“There are some places I’ve photographed on this lovely planet that I simply want to keep secret. Places off the beaten track, away from the hustle of daily life, jaw droppingly beautiful and yet a comparatively short stone’s throw from where I live.

I give you the Lofoten Islands in Arctic Norway.

A string of mountainous islands connected by undersea tunnels and winding bridges, not only is it a road-tripper’s paradise, it also played host to Håvard and Stine’s stunning elopement that I got to photograph recently.

We met on one of the most beautiful and deserted beaches I’ve ever set eyes on. We had four seasons in as many minutes, and a passing sea eagle came to check us out for good measure. These guys took it all in their stride and made for an epic photo shoot!

I’m already planning to return, just keep this secret place to yourselves!
