Happy September, lovely! Now – I’ve had this beautiful wedding up my sleeve for a little while, because there are a few little baubles in here… and I thought we should probably wait until September before mentioning Christmas! It’s a BEAUTIFUL wedding though, so I absolutely couldn’t wait a moment longer before sharing it with you. Susanna and Kieran’s wedding is perfect. They married last year, with only 8 ceremony guests and a relaxed and informal celebration with some beautiful touches. Honestly, these two are the cutest couple and I’m so excited to share their day with you. Watch out for the EPIC florals and for Susanna’s gorgeous Charlie Brear jumpsuit, which is absolutely stunning!
With love,

We found Grace Elizabeth via endless Instagram browsing. Her photos instantly caught our eyes and once we were on her website we were sold.

Alex and Anneka are the coolest! They chose East Quay Whitstable as their venue and focused their wedding planning on food, alcohol and music… because “these are the main things that make a great wedding and that your guests will remember!” It’s a brilliant June wedding with a neutral palette and simple, elegant styling touches and florals. We’ve featured East Quay weddings on the blog before now, and it’s a venue which always has that boho beach drifter, cool and quirky vibe. It’s definitely a favourite for English Wedding, and I just know you’ll adore Alex & Anneka’s day!

Today’s wedding is wonderfully sunny and warm, beautifully styled and sooo romantic – it’s absolutely wonderful and I’ve been so excited to share this with you! Gorgeous couple Amy and Niall were married in Somerset, and styled their day around their backgrounds: as Amy is from Yorkshire and Niall is from Wales they incorporated both of these into their day.

They chose the tythe barn at Priston Mill as their wedding venue, and our lovely friend Priston Mill wedding photographer Martin Dabek to capture their day. So grab a cuppa and join us as we enjoy scrolling through the beautiful photographs of this rustic, relaxed, natural wedding day, full of love and laughter!

Hey lovely! I have another fabulous wedding to share with you today – this one I totally adore for all the pretty styling touches, and for our gorgeous couple whose stunning smiles are making me grin back at my screen today! I love the leafy, foliage-centred stationery and the cute knitted people (my mum used to make these! Anyone else?!), oh and the gloriously light and airy colour palette which just couldn’t be more perfect for a marquee wedding. Photos are by our wonderfully talented friends at Amanda Karen Photography (and Danielle & Joe’s review of one of my fave wedding photographers makes me a very happy wedding blogger indeed!).

Classy rustic wedding styling at Dumbleton Hall with Oobaloos Photography (37)

Today’s wedding is everything. I love it – I love the atmosphere in the pics, the excitement (and the nerves) and the celebration and love. The styling is fabulous; it’s elegant with quirky touches. Emma and Paul are gorgeous and their day just totally ROCKS. The weather didn’t quite play ball: check out the “dramatic” October skies over Dumbleton Hall (and – spoiler alert – the rainbow, which obviously brought a few raindrops along with it!)

The images by my fabulously creative and talented friend Sheryl at Oobaloos Photography are literally stunning. You’ll be wanting to grab a cuppa and snuggle down somewhere comfy to scroll all the way through this one! Enjoy.

Dumbleton Hall near Evesham is a 19th-century Cotswold stone manor house set in many acres of gardens. The picturesque lake and black swans were the icing on the cake for Emma and Paul. “It was dreamy and had so much character. Staff were so thoughtful, supportive and friendly. Our guests praised how well staffed the venue was for getting drinks and serving our wedding breakfast. Everything throughout the day went so smoothly with them.”

Has anyone else noticed their inboxes are full of Christmas suggestions already?! And have you actually started Christmas shopping yet? I have to confess I’m a late bloomer this year… it’s going to be December before I start, I can see it now! (oops) But today I wanted to share something which will make a lovely gift for any 2018 brides and grooms – or your crafty friends!

Danielle and Andy’s wedding is the prettiest floral celebration I’ve seen – with fabulous peonies and the prettiest pink details, it’s wonderful inspiration for a classic summer celebration. I adore Danielle’s hair – her loose plait with tiny flowers is so, so beautiful – I hope you love this wedding as much as I do!

We decided on peony and roses in pink shades as we loved the romantic look and feel of them. We wanted the flowers to compliment and fit in with the venue, so had the floristry done through Narborough Hall Gardens, who grew and arranged all our flowers. The flowers were part of what made the day for us as they were so beautiful, with candelabra and teapot displays, amazing bouquets and a beautiful willow bower and flowers lining the aisle in shepherd crook jars.

You’re not going to believe me when I tell you today’s blast of colour comes from a January wedding… but it does. And what better time for a fiesta than the colder months of winter, right? Sam and Siobhan got it spot on, and I have fallen head over heels for their super colourful fiesta wedding.

The gorgeous couple married in Henley On Thames and found suppliers through Etsy and Not On The High Street – huge hats off* to them for supporting indie businesses and buying online!

*no pun intended… see huge hats further down. Sorry! C x

Gorgeous bride Siobhan would definitely recommend a winter wedding as a way to save pennies – and also to be able to spend more on the really important bits of your day. For this lovely couple that meant their photographer and their band – who most certainly made an impression!

Never let a wedding blog tell you there are things you need to have: there aren’t. All you need is the two of you – everything else is optional. Clare and Dan’s wedding at 60 Hope Street is simple, minimalist… and all the more romantic for it. The love that shines in their photographs warms my heart. Clare found her wedding suppliers on the internet and through recommendations – and her photographer Rachel Ryan was a super find on Facebook!

There are no needless details in today’s wedding; instead Dan and Clare spent on the things which were more important to them. Photography, of course – and a fabulous dress, quirky venue and stylish wedding invites from Not on the High Street. Flowers were elegant and simple; place settings were pretty and clutter-free. The venue is just gorgeous… watch out for that divine dining table!
