Happy Sunday, lovelies! I hope you’re enjoying a relaxing (if blustery!) weekend, and managing to take a little time for self-care today. It’s been a funny old week with the blog – my inbox is bursting with joyful and beautiful images, and I’ve spent every day chasing my tail… so I wanted to end the week with one of the loveliest shoots I’ve seen all year. Oh my word I LOVE this shoot!!! The colours, the elegance and the light through the windows… every detail is spot on, it’s absolutely beautiful. I’ve been saving it up, because it’s lovely to have something to inspire all of our weekends… and this has everything from a La Sposa gown (oh, that lace!) and velvet ribbons, insanely beautiful florals and a moody, luxe, dreamy colour palette.
The venue is Shropshire’s stunning Davenport House. The inspiration was – and I LOVE this – Vanity Fair at the Oscars. How’s that for a wedding theme?! Today’s shoot blows my mind, it’s so beautiful! Kirsty’s fabulous blue hair is only the beginning: the dress is insanely beautiful, the owl is the cutest thing ever, and the dripping candles and creative tablescapes tie the alternative fairytale styling (because yes, that’s a thing now!) together perfectly.
