Together with Charlotte Wise Photography and Rachel Dalton Weddings, Blooming Haus Floral Engineers embarked on a journey to style a romantic, French inspired photoshoot in a classic British countryside manor setting. Their main goal was to show the quintessence of a light, intimate and passionate wedding celebration.
The overall look for this shoot was subtle, airy and feminine. We took influences from French-inspired styling and our countryside surroundings to create a timeless and effortlessly romantic look.
From Lou Paper‘s stationery suite to Avant Garde‘s show-stopping cake – there were so many thoughtful details that brought this shoot together.
Taking inspiration from the romantic, French feel of the editorial, we styled an elegant table setup using Pompom Blossom draped silk linens and ornate tableware. A naturally styled display of low floral arrangements and bud vases completed the look.
When it came to styling our couple, we opted for timelessly elegant outfits, with our groom in a classic tuxedo and our bride in two beautifully romantic Anna Bridal gowns. Natalie Danielle completed our bride’s look with flawless makeup which mirrored the warm hues used throughout the shoot, and effortlessly glamorous hair finished with an array of beautiful Donna Crain accessories.
The colour palette captured the quintessence of a warm British autumn season. In harmony with the time of the year – end of summer, we all opted for a warmer colour palette, with off-whites, burnt oranges, toffee colours, warm chocolate and saturated reds. The effect of this set-up is a balancing act of heart-warming hues, just before the autumn fully sets in.
We scouted for different venues around the South of Great Britain and reached out to Hale Park, a beautiful and exclusive gem, hidden in New Forest National Park. The habitat around this picturesque place is so unique that we were mesmerised by it. At the end of the day, where else can you find free roaming horses and natural fauna and flora that’s hard to imagine in this busy world we live in? The classic interiors and facade of this house was a strong inspiration and a perfect match for this magical journey we all embarked on.
The Flowers for the first part of the shoot were very autumnal, almost wintery – we used various types of dahlias, new varieties of carnations, chocolate and white cosmos, wild carrot and roses and ranunculi, among foraged foliage such as oak and yellow and red raspberry. We warmed up the colour palette during the second part of the shoot and added red roses, burnt orange amaranthus, foraged clematis, and textured scabiosas. Textures and details were the most important elements of the floral set-up.
