A treat from pre-lockdown times! I LOVE how Andrew and Camilla casually mention that they gatecrashed their own daughter’s christening… to get married! Surprise weddings are the best thing in the world… and the images from this gorgeous pair’s day tell such a lovely story. This is such a heartwarming story, and I hope in this week of turmoil for everyone, it will bring a smile. Andrew and Camilla are gorgeous – I love everything about their day. A few of my personal highlights – Camilla got changed behind the organ. Godparents found out about the wedding the day before – with a surprise stag / hen meal – where they found out they were best men & bridesmaids too! Their dog is with them every step of the way… The photos are wonderful – they bring a tear to my eye every time I see them. Huge thanks to English Wedding member and talented Cambridge wedding photographer Damien Vickers Photography for sharing his images with us. I hope you love them.“english

Happy Sunday everyone! So today… a relaxed and fun wedding from last summer, with a joyful vibe and a brilliant interview from our lovely bride and groom. Beth and Jez are GORGEOUS and then some – and I adore Beth’s skirt and top, she looks amazing! The story of their day makes a fantastic read (thanks Beth!) and I only wish I knew more about the He-Man and Monty Python references in their ceremony… which gives you a flavour of how entertaining and awesome this day really was!

I’ll leave you to scroll happily through the images by Damien Vickers Photography, with words by beautiful bride Beth.

So autumn has well and truly landed, and I’m loving jumpers and autumn walks already. Don’t you just love playing in the leaves and trying to catch one? Even if you’re on your own… it’s lucky to catch a leaf but so much harder than it looks! It’s time for evenings by the fire and cosy candlelit cuddles, and for making wedding plans together – because in 10 weeks it’ll be 2018! Eeek!!
