My inspiration behind this shoot was to showcase a fusion Anglo-Indian wedding with a traditional English civil wedding style, alongside incorporating Indian cultural elements into the design.
Hello there lovelies! Does it feel as though spring time is on its way to you yet? No fear if not: we have a bunny on the blog today. Kinda. đ This is woodland wedding inspo with a city twist: the venue is The Terrace on Piccadilly and the bunny is from Easigrass! But we love him all the same. The shoot was organised and designed by key members of the UKAWP – the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners, whose members have been a big part of English Wedding since our launch back in 2009.
Last month it was announced that the laws governing where folks get married in England and Wales might change – and it’s about time, we think! We dream of windswept elopements on sea cliffs, of secret woodland glades for our tipis and festoon-lit wedding celebrations… and of creating and speaking our own vows which don’t include legal jargon or a single religion if we don’t want them to! We’ll be watching the development of that little story carefully here at English Wedding HQ.

The Refinery by Drake and Morgan is such a brilliant venue: in Regent’s Place, central London, and with a cool and urban interior, it works perfectly for this industrial luxe wedding style, brought together by Carmela weddings.
