If you’ve said ‘YES!’ and you’re currently choosing your engagement ring, you’ll know the choice is vast! If you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed and not sure where to start, fashion stylist Emmeline Smith shares her favourite ring styles to help inspire you.

Triple Stones

Triple stone rings, also known as a trilogy or trinity setting, are still experiencing a resurgence thanks to the fabulous ring Prince Harry gave Meghan Markle on their engagement in 2017. The beauty of this style is that you can have any stone shape or size to suit your personal taste.

How is your Friday going, lovelies? I’ll be honest: this gorgeous wedding is absolutely brightening our day through a storm of technical ‘issues’ today! What on earth we’d do without the magic and beauty of Lisa & Scott’s Lakes wedding, and the calming, happy vibes of Jaye Peg’s gorgeous photography, we’ll never know!

This is an absolute beauty, and a wedding we’ll remember for a long time to come! The happy couple tied the knot at Broadoaks Country House – quite possibly the Lake District’s favourite cosy-quirky and super welcoming wedding venue. They’ve told us all about their day and recommended some favourite suppliers, so do have a proper scroll through and enjoy! We’ll be cracking open a gin and celebrating the weekend now!

And now for something completely different…

Gemma and John planned this hysterically funny Monty python themed wedding at the Ravenswood and chose brilliant UK wedding photographers York Place Studios to capture their day

I’d like to think this wedding is at the heart of everything you’ll see on English Wedding. It’s full of fun and character, loaded up sky high with hearty chuckles and must have been the BEST day for everyone who was there.

Bride and groom Gemma & John share a brilliant sense of humour, and there are plenty of photos here which will make you laugh out loud. Their wedding was sent in by our good friends, London wedding photographers York Place Studios. It really shows how essential it is to ‘click’ with your wedding photographers… whether that’s over a shared sense of humour, love of Monty Python or anything else that makes you grin!

We’re thrilled to share this enchantingly autumnal wedding for a gorgeous couple in the Cotswolds. Jess & Tom had to postpone twice – their welcome sign tells quite a story! But their wedding, once it happened, is exceptionally beautiful. Jess is stunning in a dress from The Cotswolds Frock Shop, and Tom’s so handsome in his suit… although Albie almost steals the show with his little dog bow tie! All of the images are by Cotswolds wedding photographer Martin Dabek, who we’re proud to say is a member of English Wedding.

Touched by an Angel by Maya Angelou – our stunning couple Pash & Sean chose this gorgeous reading about love and it’s beautiful.

Touched by an Angel

We, unaccustomed to courage
exiles from delight
live coiled in shells of loneliness
until love leaves its high holy temple
and comes into our sight
to liberate us into life.
