Do you want a ceremony that is joyful, uplifting, memorable, magical, warm, sincere and most importantly authentically you? Or do you want a legally satisfactory but often emotionally hollow wedding ceremony? I bet it’s the former.
The landscape of weddings in the UK is experiencing a beautiful shift – slowly but surely celebrant led ceremonies once a hidden gem are beginning to become a more prominent choice for couples seeking a truly personalised and meaningful wedding experience.
When you’ve been writing about weddings for over a decade, the most exciting thing is change. The subtle shifts in fashion and style, the free spirited approach to planning and styling our best days ever. I adore timeless wedding styles – minimal stationery and simple elegance. But chic, city weddings, and seeing couples do things differently, is where this wedding blogger’s heart lies.
It takes outstanding designers with imagination and talent to push the boundaries. Tanya at Mia La Vida in London strikes me as fearless and exquisitely talented. We’re super excited here at English Wedding by Mia La Vida’s newest collections (now available online – do check out the stunning Storm wedding gown and my fave Rain & Ivy bridal looks).
James and Maria’s celebration was a day filled with joy and love, a beautifully elegant London wedding with stunning styling touches. We adore Maria’s dress and the incredibly beautiful train with buttons all the way down to the hem. The florals are simple and beautiful with white roses for the bridal bouquet and romantic pinks for the venue arrangements. James and Maria are breathtaking in their wedding attire and this is such an incredible day – we hope you will love it too! All images are by Pembroke Lodge wedding photographer Liam Collard Photography. Liam is based in London and travels worldwide to capture unforgettable weddings in his artistic signature style.
