I met lovely Tracy from The Flower House at a styled editorial shoot last September – and she’s one of the friendliest wedding creatives you could hope to meet. Tracy’s talents with flowers are a joy to witness: her arrangements are thoughtful and beautifully arranged, with huge character and a fabulous contemporary style. They’re the focal point of today’s inspiration feature, which shows you how to style a bohemian wedding with rich tones for late summer. The images are by my lovely friend Jenny Heyworth Photography for Aspire Photography Training.
Today’s gorgeous bride and groom chose a destination wedding in the Champagne region of France. Their August wedding was held at Chateau de Mairy, in the small village of Mairy Sur Marne. I love the bright sunflowers and relaxed atmosphere of their day – it all looks so sunny and beautiful!
Nature lovers and fans of decadent florals – I have such a treat for you this Thursday afternoon. Today’s feature is all about a boho bridal look with oodles of greenery and the prettiest peach colour accents for a pretty spring vibe.
I love how delicate the Luna Bride gown feels – and how easily a dreamy boho look can become a little more luxe just by adding stunning floral arrangements.
Images are by fine art wedding photographer Arabella Smith, who collaborated with a team of Yorkshire wedding creatives to bring this look to life. The shoot took place during the Helmsley Walled Garden Wedding Open Weekend, with a floral fine art vibe but a little boho twist.
Sifting through wedding photographs is the loveliest job, it truly is! Something about Aimee and Ben’s day made me realise every one of the celebrations I see is special for something truly unique to the couple. For Aimee and Ben, the barn location and simple, relaxed styling makes everything look perfect – and the delight on their faces makes it a treat to look through their images from beginning to end.
If you’ve never submitted a wedding or shoot to a blog before, it can be a little scary – I’ve heard countless times from photographers that they’ve been putting off their first submission… and there’s really no need to wait! I LOVE hearing from photographers who’ve never featured on the blog before, and even if you’ve never been published on a wedding blog before I absolutely welcome your submissions. So do send them in!
My submissions guidelines (which have been ever so slightly tweaked over the last month) are here: https://english-wedding.com/submissions/
