I met lovely Tracy from The Flower House at a styled editorial shoot last September – and she’s one of the friendliest wedding creatives you could hope to meet. Tracy’s talents with flowers are a joy to witness: her arrangements are thoughtful and beautifully arranged, with huge character and a fabulous contemporary style. They’re the focal point of today’s inspiration feature, which shows you how to style a bohemian wedding with rich tones for late summer. The images are by my lovely friend Jenny Heyworth Photography for Aspire Photography Training.
Styling has the trademark elegance of Emma from Tebbey & Co, who was assisted on this shoot by Catherine from White Feather & Co. The black candles and graceful brass candlesticks work perfectly with the floral arrangements – and don’t you just love that gorgeous mix of colours and textures? The little pink pointy flowers are Blushing Bride, which is very appropriate…
Gorgeous bride Bethany wears a simple, boho dress by Rembo Styling, and her hair and make up are by lovely Stefanie Grisdale (who worked with me on our Spirit of the Mountains, Spirit of the Sea shoot featured over on Love My Dress). Bethany attended one of my calligraphy workshops in Manchester last year and is one of Aspire’s regular models – isn’t she beautiful!
The cake is by Cutie Pie Cake Co. – I love its simplicity and the soft tones of the layers – the pretty florals are perfect, and it’s wonderful to see a cake so beautifully presented!
