If I could do one thing this Bank Holiday Monday it would be to whisk away all your worries and fill you with happy. These crazy, scary times won’t last forever, and if you’ve had to postpone your wedding until 2021 please, please look forward to your new date with absolute joy. My heart says 2021 is going to be an incredible year full of amazing wedding celebrations. Weddings like Ruth & Jonny’s. Weddings full of glorious love and laughter, and with a party to end all parties. This is epic, and I do hope it brings a smile to your day. It has been a whirlwind of a week here at English Wedding HQ! I’ve typed up a 105-page modern calligraphy workbook, written a gold ink wedding table plan and menus for a November wedding, and planned in a bunch of gorgeous real weddings for the autumn – so I’m mega happy it’s Friday today! Having gorgeous couple Charlotte and Dexter on the blog makes it even more special – this is an AMAZING wedding and I just know you’ll love these two – I mean just look at this stunning golden hour photo!!!
Today’s wedding is wonderfully sunny and warm, beautifully styled and sooo romantic – it’s absolutely wonderful and I’ve been so excited to share this with you! Gorgeous couple Amy and Niall were married in Somerset, and styled their day around their backgrounds: as Amy is from Yorkshire and Niall is from Wales they incorporated both of these into their day.
They chose the tythe barn at Priston Mill as their wedding venue, and our lovely friend Priston Mill wedding photographer Martin Dabek to capture their day. Julie and Aaron’s wedding photos had me hooked from the moment I saw them – the gorgeous smoke bomb images, Julie’s stunning smile and that amazing Caroline Castigliano dress!! They married in April at Pennard House, with all the cherry blossom in full bloom. The venue was styled by RD Events, flowers are by lovely Bramble & Wild, and there are some lovely rustic touches from Bath Vintage Hire Company. This is a day full of beautiful old English charm, and I hope you love it as much as I do!

Sean & Charlotte’s Coombe Lodge wedding was relaxed, fun filled and full of love. Their theme of rustic romance in blush, cream and greens incorporated traditional touches: lace, hessian, lots of candles and lots of florals. Charlotte is stunning in an Essense of Australia dress, and Sean wears his military uniform – so today’s wedding will appeal to all of you lovelies who are looking for traditional, pretty and classic styling ideas for your day.
