Hello everyone! Are you ready for today’s beautiful wedding? Paul and Abi went for a rustic home made wedding style, which was perfect for their venue -the charming and cosy Donington Park Farmhouse Hotel (I’ve always associated Donington with music hehe – it’s nice to learn a little more about such a lovely place!) So we have tons of handmade details with blue gingham ribbon, a photo wall, lots of gypsophila and magical sparkle from fairy lights and tea lights dotted around the venue.

Oh! And let’s not forget the beautiful bride in her stunning lace dress – Abi says she’s a little camera-shy while Paul loves the attention, but I think they both look amazing in the photos – and so in love! Read all about their Derbyshire wedding in Abi’s wedding report at the end of the blog feature today, and enjoy the lovely images from Shaun Taylor Photography. Congratulations to a fabulous couple (and even more congratulations for the bump news!!!) and big thanks to Shaun for submitting such a beautiful wedding to the English Wedding Blog! I hope you enjoy it.

Hello! How are you this lovely morning? I’m deliriously happy – I’m just head over heels in love with today’s wedding. Heather and Gary chose Maunsel House for their vintage travel wedding – a fabulous venue indeed. And then they decided on vintage Vespas for wedding transport. Now as you might know, I ride a Vespa and I’m always, always looking out for Vespa weddings to feature. This one is special – and just look at those beautiful little scoots!

Today’s gorgeous couple tick all the boxes for me – they chose a superb wedding photographer, Neale James, who gets a glowing review in the wedding report (towards the end of the blog feature today). And as further proof of their excellent taste and style, my lovely friend Joanne from Vintage Twee made their on the day stationery (wonderful wedding menus, orders of service and table numbers to fit with the vintage travel wedding theme).

Hello there! I hope you’re having a nice weekend, taking it easy and spending a little quality time with your other half. We’re just about to head up a little mountain in the northern Lake District – weather permitting! But before we go, I have to share some of what I’ve been reading this week with you. I think you’ll love these…

Hello my lovely! Have you been smiling much this morning? I hope so – and I’m going to do my very best to make you smile even more with today’s gorgeous wedding on the blog. I’m sharing Lisa and Neil’s rustic outdoor wedding from sunny Gloucestershire – and it’s just full of wonderful details and ideas – as well as the beautiful sunlight I love most of all!

rustic outdoor wedding UK photography Dafydd Hughes (2)I definitely think as the nights draw in it’s time for me to feature more sunny, summer weddings with you! The occasional snowy wedding is lovely… but sunshine like this just can’t be beaten! And they keep saying we’re in for a long, snowy winter – so I’m staging a little rebellion here on the English Wedding Blog from today!

rustic outdoor wedding UK photography Dafydd Hughes (3)I loved Lisa and Neil’s wedding from the first moment I saw it. Cotswold wedding photographer Dafydd Hughes shared their images with me – and he’s been on the English Wedding Blog before, featuring Sean and Rachel’s sunny wedding with hay bales… not only does lovely Dafydd specialise in beautiful photography, he seems to come with free sunshine! Yay! See his website at http://dafyddhughesphotography.co.uk/

Morning my lovely blog reader! I do hope you’re keeping warm wherever you are. It’s 3-jumper time for me here in my little studio! But today I have a lovely treat to warm your heart – with gorgeous bride and groom Faye and Matt. Their Welsh wedding has pretty much everything and then more – a silhouette artist, barbecue picnic, a home made cake of meringue kisses (I know!!! I want one too!)… And then there’s Faye’s beautiful dress, her fabulous shoes and little jacket… it’s all just wonderful.

Do enjoy the wedding and please take the time to read Faye’s fantastic wedding report. She made me chuckle, and cry, and smile along with her – and the advice she gives on budgeting and enjoying the day is priceless from beginning to end. You’ll find the full report from the gorgeous bride at the end of today’s blog feature. Don’t miss it!

The last wedding I went to was going to be an outdoor wedding in the Lake District in August. It was such a shame for the bride and groom that it poured down that day… but if the sun had shone it would have been so beautiful. It still was, of course! But it was beautiful inside. In contrast, today’s English outdoor wedding on the blog is one of those days where the dream of a sunny wedding ceremony really did come true. Beautiful Hannah and Ben were blessed with gorgeous weather and their wedding day was magical.

Hello again! I’m happy to be bringing you a little sprinkle of summer again this morning. Today’s blog is full of the prettiest details in delicious pastels – and of course, a beautiful bride, handsome groom and some romantic moments to capture your heart.

Hello my lovelies! I have a treat for you this morning from a gorgeous and creative couple – Jessica and Mike. Their wedding at Thornton Manor in Cheshire is full of little luxuries and special touches. As Jessica herself told me, “the devil’s in the detail” – a nice motto for a wedding, don’t you think?!

Wedding at Thornton Manor by Martin Hambleton (1)

Jessica and Mike chose their wedding suppliers carefully and with such a professional team in place they really couldn’t go wrong. A top class venue – Thornton Manor – set the scene. Their photographer is the lovely and talented Martin Hambleton. Flowers, music, scented candles and more combined to make this a truly memorable and special wedding day.

Morning lovely people! Wherever you are in the country this morning, please stay safe and warm. I’m thinking of all of you who in the south – we’ve escaped the gales up here in the Lakes but I know from my friends around London and Exeter it’s pretty scary down there. Anyway – I couldn’t resist sharing a few sneak peeks of Carina and Henry’s Derbyshire wedding a little while ago, and I’m over the moon to be able to begin this week on a high with such an amazing celebration. You’re going to adore this!

Derbyshire wedding photography Rik Pennington photographer (1)

The images are by my lovely new sponsor Rik Pennington Photography (more about him later!) and they are just wonderful. I really think they capture the atmosphere of today’s wedding and I’d love to hear from you today too – leave a comment for the gorgeous bride and groom, or for Rik or just say hi! The comments box at the end of the post is there especially for you and I love hearing from my wonderful readers.

Kate and Scott’s wedding at Somerford Hall was a real family affair, with everyone helping create a beautiful and personal celebration for this gorgeous couple. I loved reading about it on their photographer Andrew Ward‘s blog and couldn’t resist sharing their big day with you all on the English Wedding Blog.
Somerford Hall wedding blog (15) Somerford Hall is an 18th century mansion house in Staffordshire, with the most beautiful landscaped gardens and spectacular scenery. Kate told me it didn’t need very much decoration at all – naturally – and so everyone’s creative efforts were focused on table decorations, favours and even the wedding cake which Kate’s dad made from start to finish!
Somerford Hall wedding blog (33)

Kate’s dress is Constantine by Ian Stuart – and she wears it beautifully. Scott and the rest of the guys wear yellow buttonholes and socks which tie in with the theme of the day – a lovely sunny yellow. Just the perfect wedding to grace our screens on this chilly October day, I think!

Never before have I seen a groom so obviously and completely enchanted with his bride. You absolutely have to watch this romantic and captivating Northbrook Park wedding film by my lovely wedding blog sponsors Deneemotion – it will melt your heart.

There’s so much to tell you about this beautiful wedding: I adore the jars of wildflowers and sunflowers tied to chairs with raffia – perfect for Fran and Daniel’s outdoor ceremony. Fran looks incredible in her dress with lace back detailing (from Marshmallow Bride) – and the guys are rocking quirky football skullcaps which make me smile. There are tiny hanging lanterns in trees, jam jars and flowers by the dozen on wedding tables and so many more inspiring details. Then there’s the KISS – not to be missed.
