Happy Friday folks! Ah… how on earth is it the end of the week already?! We’ve had the most amazing week of wedding inspiration on the blog, and I have so much planned to share with you over the weekend and next week too! But first – I like to share something really beautiful every Friday: as work is winding down we can all afford a little longer for lunch, right? So today we’re sharing Alexandra and Hugo’s marquee wedding with tons of handmade touches (beautiful bride Alexandra bought and arranged ALL the flowers, as well as making the stationery!) and gorgeous styling.
Good morning lovelies! Before we get stuck into today’s beautiful wedding feature I wanted to quickly remind you about our prize draw – you can win a Tile worth £60 if you sign up to our NEW email list before the end of the month. Find out exactly what Tile is all about on page 87 of the English Wedding Bible – if you have the slightest worry about losing your wedding rings, it’s going to be worth its weight in gold!
I love Rachael & Darren’s wedding – the dress code of black tie for all the guys makes it super gorgeous and I adore the venue – such a perfect fit with the elegant styling of the day! Our stunning bride and handsome groom styled the venue with lush creamy white hydrangeas and roses, candles, sequined table runners and mirrors.
The overall look is fabulously done: it’s elegant and timeless, and the black tie dress code makes it look so chic and decadent – reminiscent of 1920s old Hollywood style! Colour accents are kept really simple with gold and blush styling touches perfectly complementing the glamorous look of the beautiful bride and groom.
If you love summer flowers and dream of an opulent, gloriously fragrant summer bouquet – then today’s wedding is going to blow your mind! The flowers are exquisite – and then some. Beautiful bride Hannah is breathtaking in full lace sleeves and a glorious Caroline Castigliano gown while her rather gorgeous groom Will is every bit the country gentleman.
Their marquee wedding has the loveliest styling ideas with hanging floral decoration, huge centrepieces full of colour and even blossom trees to create the country garden look. The table plan is my fave with prettily folded cards set amongst yet more florals catching prettily in the breeze.
Green fields, fairy lights and delicate flowers in her hair… Becky and Rob’s marquee wedding is all kinds of beautiful. Acres of countryside borrowed from Becky’s godfather meant they had the perfect location for a relaxed country celebration, and it looks divine. And oh, that dress….
