Morning! Yesterday I featured Kateryna and Prakash’s wedding from Syon Park: a feast for the eyes, a real delight with the most luxurious wedding venue, a stunning bride and groom and lots of gorgeous portraits and pics of a wonderful celebration.

Today wedding photographer Natasha Thompson shares some more pics of the day, elegant posed pics and more of the story of the wedding reception. Groom Prakash tells us how this glorious wedding day unfolded from the point we left the happy couple after they signed the register and joined their guests.

We begin with Kateryna’s family and a Russian tradition you may not be familiar with: “Katya’s parents then took us through a traditional Russian ceremony of drinking wine and breaking bread. We got to then spend a short amount of time with our guests before we were then whisked away to the gardens around the Great Conservatory for more photos.

Elegance and class is what today’s wedding blog is all about. Kateryna and Prakash were married at Syon Park – true luxury and a real feast for the eyes! I make no apology for the lavish setting, the fabulous chequered floors and marble statues, the chaises longues and portraits of the ancestors, the panelled ceilings and ornate gardens.

Kateryna is worthy of any grand portrait herself, and she and Prakash make a handsome couple. Either of these two would stop traffic wearing jeans! – but in their wedding day finery they both look amazing.

They’ve written a lovely wedding report for the blog, which I believe is very much down to Prakash (I love wedding stories from grooms!) so I’ll hand over the storytelling reins now, and show you beautiful photographs of the wedding courtesy of Natasha Thompson to complete the feature for today.

Morning everyone! I hope you slept well last night… or were you, like me, wondering if our lovely groom Bruno would survive yesterday’s flower girl feather stick ambush?! Well I have good news for you… he did! And today I’m delighted to bring you part two of the 200th real wedding on English Wedding Blog.

Thanks again to Chris Hanley Photography for sharing such incredible images for this feature. I am always blown away by the magic inside Chris’s camera. Today we’re back at Hengrave Hall in Suffolk for more from beautiful Suzy and Bruno – who is responsible for my favourite image from this wedding day: the most loving hug you’ll ever see on a wedding blog!

Enjoy. xx

This is a lovely idea: the tiny panels of glass in the windows of Hengrave Hall afford us a private glimpse of Suzy and Bruno together. I love proper panelled glass windows when they sparkle in the sunshine – to see them used so beautifully in a wedding picture is a treat!

This one had to be special. When I blog a wedding I look for creativity, for ideas, for beauty. English Wedding blog features are about elegance and quality, about enjoyment, diversion and making our eyes happy. Real wedding number two hundred had to have something more.

Real wedding blog (23)

I found Suzy and Bruno’s wedding on Chris Hanley‘s blog. It’s packed with wow – so much so, I’m blogging the wedding day in three parts. Today: join me in a virtual stroll around Hengrave Hall wedding venue where we’ll set the scene for the day, meet the beautiful Suzy, her charming new husband Bruno and their pretty bridesmaids all enjoying the luxury of one of Suffolk’s finest stately homes.

Wedding blogs are all about the photography. So English Wedding’s 200th feature had to have the most exquisite photographs – I know it’s what YOU want to see! (I’ve even checked the Love My Dress blog reader survey on this: 33% of blog readers put photography as the most important element of their wedding)

Emma and Richard’s wedding at Homme House is a real treat: it couldn’t be more English Wedding-y if we were all sitting here drinking Earl Grey and munching on scones while reading this blog post and waving union jacks*. I loved it the minute I saw this wedding on Anneli Marinovich’s wedding photography blog. Wedding day croquet on the lawn? Yes please!

Emma is absolutely beautiful, and Anneli captures her radiance so well in these pictures. There are many more I couldn’t fit on the blog post so I’ll urge you all to look at Anneli’s wedding blog post at the end! For now, enjoy my favourite photos from this quintessentially English wedding day.

I sent Emma and Richard my English Wedding Blog questionnaire to find out a little more about the wedding day. Emma told me about her dress, which is “Pronovias Silaba – I bought it from Teokath in Wimbledon.”

Victoria and David’s wedding is gorgeous – when Sara and Tony from Marry Me Films got in touch I instantly fell in love with this film from their Thornton Manor wedding. Victoria is a real English beauty, and her wedding dress covered in lace and sparkles is really, really lovely.

So today’s blog post is a quickie for me to write! Enjoy the wedding film – Paul Weller provides the romantic soundtrack by the way – and watch out for that first view of the magnificent ceiling* inside Thornton Manor. You’ll also be impressed, I think, by Victoria and David’s six tier wedding cake. Yes – six tiers! Wow…

Yesterday I shared Andrea and Richard’s classy wedding in Cheshire. They were married in July and despite the rain it was a beautiful celebration: not least for Andrea’s stunning halterneck wedding dress and the inclusion of their adorable little son and the cutest EVER bridesmaid and flower girl.

wedding blog by cg weddings photography UK (1)I saved lots and lots of gorgeous images of the wedding reception for you. A deliciously sophisticated garden wedding reception, this blog post is full of ideas for styling your day – as well as the usual collection of beautiful wedding photos to make you smile and dream of your own wedding day!

By the kids’ area. Enjoy the grown up photos of the party below – as ever, beautifully captured by Cheshire wedding photographers cg weddings. And then let’s go and have a peek at the kids’ tent, shall we? With bunting, flowers, games, treats and a selection of exotic creatures and creepy crawlies, it’s brilliant inspiration for entertaining children at your wedding. You’ll love it…

This week on English Wedding is one of beautiful contrasts. Today is a quiet, thoughtful and peaceful day – and this blog feature is about pure, enchanting and beautiful wedding photography. Tracy and Richard were married at the stunning Thornton Manor. Their style – as you’ll see instantly from the beginning of this wedding movie – is cool, just a dab quirky and lots of fun! Tracy’s dress is an absolute stunner – she makes a beautiful bride.

Inspiring details include the white VW camper van to the church, the vintage cars on the drive to the manor house, the wishing tree and beautiful group shots taken by top wedding photographer Tobiah Tayo.

The wedding reception has lovely vintage styling with candelabras on every table draped with strings of pearls. The sumptuous venue can only be admired – with luxurious surroundings, ornate frames and beautiful lighting, this really is the most special of wedding days.

Watch for Tracy twirling happily around in her wedding dress during the first dance – it’s fabulous to see such a wonderfully happy bride and groom!

Did you see yesterday’s blog post? The first part of English Wedding’s little (virtual!) roadtrip to Wales for Emma and Lee’s Cardiff Castle wedding had a VW campervan, gorgeous fishtail wedding dress, ducklings and the most dramatic setting for the ceremony I’ve seen in ages.

Part two, of course… well in part two it gets better and better! I previewed one picture on the English Wedding facebook page earlier this month (sometimes I just can’t wait!), it’s so clever! Aga’s wedding photography is so exciting, and the interior of Cardiff Castle is incredible!

Claire: stop wittering. Everybody else: enjoy….

Hello everyone, and a big welcome to a week – maybe even a month – absolutely packed full of real weddings for your happy eyes. I’ve been sent so many gorgeous weddings I am absolutely spoilt for choice! Aga from Phototom wedding photography sent me these gorgeous photos from Emma and Lee’s wedding at Cardiff Castle – and wow, they’re just amazing.

It’s hard to believe the wedding was organised in a matter of months: Emma and Lee did a great job and created what looks like a perfect wedding day. From the designer wedding dress to the sparkling VW campervan… this beautiful Welsh wedding is right up my street!
