So this one’s really close to home for me: a Lake District wedding at one of our finest venues, nestling amongst the highest English mountains in the charming village of Grasmere. The venue is the Michelin-starred The Forest Side – a gem I’ve dined at, organised a photoshoot at, and where my mum & dad used to stay on their Lakes holidays before I was born!
Did I ever tell you how incredibly lucky I feel to do this for a living? Writing about gorgeous weddings, scrolling through eye-dazzling images of love and joy all day long? It’s a pretty special way to spend the days, and I’m feeling incredibly blessed this week with such dreamy content to share with you! Today’s couple are stunning Phoebe & Ed, who married at Childerley Hall in Cambridge and chose our friend and top UK wedding photographer Richard Skins to capture their day. Phoebe’s dress is just….. ahhh I don’t even have words: it’s more beautiful than beautiful has ever been before!
I couldn’t be happier with this week’s AMAZING weddings! Following yesterday’s stunning and colourful florals, today we’re going all white with the blooms, and including oodles of wonderful foliage – oh, and of COURSE we have the most insanely gorgeous couple: Joshua and Rebecca are just fabulous! We’re kicking off this week with an absolute stunner of a wedding: beautiful Serena & Michael’s Worcestershire wedding has the loveliest atmosphere of elegance and glamour – I just know you’ll love this. Their wedding photographer is new to English Wedding: Nicholas Rogers Photography is based in the Midlands – he gets a brilliant review from the happy couple. I can almost smell the flowers… because today we have the loveliest, summeriest wedding of all for you to enjoy. Gorgeous couple Jo and Jack married in Cheltenham on a beautiful early summer’s day. Their barn wedding celebration is just divine: the florals are so vibrant and wonderfully colourful they almost steal the show.
