Even though our wedding had to change multiple times due to covid, it honestly was the most amazing day of my life, there was so much love at our wedding it was incredible & I actually think our day was more special because of it! Everything happens for a reason. Don’t sweat the small stuff, brides to be! It will all work out & your day will be magical regardless of any hiccups along the way đ

I love to share a positive story, and it’s fabulous to see something wonderful emerging after such a tough year. Many hospitality businesses have had a really tough 12 months, but the team at exciting new Shropshire wedding venue Stockton House have used the time to totally refurbish the Georgian building to create a unique and stylish venue ready for a wedding resurgence.
Stockton House will open for weddings in April 2022. Over the latest lockdown, couples have been arranging video calls and taking private virtual tours around the house and grounds. We’re thrilled to hear that Stocktonâs diary is already filling up with wedding bookings for next year!

I’ve had the loveliest flurry of applications for membership of the blog this month! It’s been wonderful – I’ve almost kept up with my emails as we set up supplier pages for all of our new members. As wedding season finally looms on the horizon, I thought it would be a nice time to introduce those of you who are new here to our groundbreaking wedding blog membership platform.
How it works is simple: suppliers pay a small fee to be blog members. You can then be featured – with real weddings, styled shoots, product showcases and guest blog posts.
It’s SO exciting to have weddings back! We’re thrilled for all of you lovelies getting wed this spring and summer, and can’t wait to feature your 2021 weddings! (Because 2020, total drought year for weddings! We’re ready for double, if not TRIPLE the celebrations we had last year!)
It’s got me thinking about all the weddings I’d love to see on the English Wedding blog. So I put together this little bucket list of dream weddings I’d be over the moon to publish on these pages. Weddings go by in a flash and a blur because there is SO MUCH going on. It might feel like 10 minutes, but the story of your day in pictures will be a revelation. So many of my wedding photographer friends say they struggle to send a selection of just 60 images for a blog post. I can totally see why – and today I’m really feeling it! Hannah & Jamie’s (pre-covid) village hall wedding is summed up beautifully in our header pic: it’s ALL about the people they love, and who love them.
