I’m a huge advocate for destination weddings at home, right here in the UK. They’re more sustainable, and still have that spine-tingly excitement of a holiday + wedding. We might not have white sands and melty-hot sunshine, but we have beautiful countryside, amazing landscapes and dreamy locations you can head for!

Inspired by luxury destination wedding planner Michelle at Elegante by Michelle J, here’s a few favourite locations – and tips on having an amazing destination wedding in the UK!

5 great reasons to choose a UK destination wedding

  • Saving the planet
  • Bringing all your guests

If you like your wedding photography REAL, then we have such a treat for you today. Not just stunning images (although there are plenty!), and more than an explanation of natural wedding photos. We get to peek inside the mind of lovely wedding photographer Hannah from Rabbit House Studio Photography, who’s about to tell us how she photographs a wedding and what she’s thinking as she does!

Doesn’t it feel like aaaages since NYE? Today’s super glamorous, sparkly wedding brings it all back! Our gorgeous couple Sophie & Bryson were married in Chichester on the 31st of December, and celebrated all the way through to midnight with a classy, candlelit wedding reception. Their amazing images are by London wedding photographers Liam Collard Photography – and we just know you’ll love them to bits!

Let’s begin with Sophie & Bryson’s advice for other couples – to “HAVE FUN!!! Dont make it excessively big as you won’t have time to spend with everyone. Or, have another event either the day after or before so that you can speak to everyone.”

What exactly is lab-grown?

As we head into the weekend, I would love for you to hold one thing close to your heart – let planning your wedding be FUN!

Don’t let the excitement of saying “I do” fade as your planning journey begins. Hold on tight to the joy of those first few days of sharing your happy news.

I spotted a lovely quote on insta from London’s favourite celebrity wedding planner Mark Niemierko

“I like my brides to be spoilt and protected during the planning process, yet through the endless correspondence and planning meetings it needs to be fun… so much fun”
