Happy summer, everyone! Can I say that? Is it officially summer yet? It’s beautiful here…
The English Wedding Directory is where you can find all of our favourite wedding vendors. Our Facebook page is updated with new vendors when they join us, and the Directory is full of brilliant photographers, stationers, florists, stylists, calligraphers… everything you might need for the wedding of your dreams!

Strike a Pose Wedding Movies is a family business from the North East, producing modern, cinematic style wedding films that will bring your wedding day back to life, in a way nothing else can.
Jen and Joe had such a beautiful, summery wedding at Loseley Park with pretty florals and the most amazing backless lace dress. The look of their day was very English country wedding, and worked beautifully to create a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Family and friends decorated the venue, and Jen’s mum made all the macaroons herself – they look fab.
Images are by lovely Verity Quirk Photography, who gets a great review from our gorgeous bride and groom. Verity told me Jenny and Joe are huge G&T fans: “Their friends and family say they go together just as well at Gin & Tonic does, so at the end of their ceremony they both made a G&T together and shared it while leaving the ceremony! I LOVED that.
I like to think the role of wedding blogs is to mix things up a little. While there are always key themes for any wedding season, it’s nice to throw something wonderfully, excitingly different into the mix from time to time. So when lovely Helen from Pudding Bridge showed me this glorious shoot with dusky blues and peach blooms I simply had to share it with you! From the beautiful florals and Kelly’s gorgeous Stella York gown, to the statement table plan and the rainbow at the end of a perfect day, I am totally in love with today’s wedding feature. Kelly is stunning; David looks fantastic and they just make the loveliest couple ever, don’t you think?
