Happy Sunday, you wonderful human. I’m snuggling into a cosy blanket this morning – it’s freezing out there and I’m taking a little me time to relax this weekend. But I’m excited because I have two fabulous features to share with you today. It’s pretty much a blog takeover, as our features today are all about Love Gets Sweeter – my friend Charlene has been making beautiful wedding videos for years and I’m thrilled to welcome Love Gets Sweeter to the English Wedding Blog. I’ll let the lovely lady introduce herself to you! Have a wonderful Sunday!

London is literally heaving with wedding venues – but without a little insider knowledge you’d never know some of them are even there! We’ve put together a list of the coolest 10 wedding venues in London: our favourites for their character and style, whether that be grand old buildings or alternative urban spaces. London wedding photographer Jordanna Marston has photographed weddings at these venues, and her couples are 100% brilliant and creative, so do click through to see more from each of their days.

I LOVE that we’ve been able to tell you about some wonderfully creative and sustainable / ethical wedding suppliers on the blog this week. If you missed Thursday’s blog do take a peek at the beautiful Sanyukta Shrestha dresses we featured here.  Today I’m really excited to share a wedding style photoshoot from a group of like-minded Dorset wedding suppliers who came together to create a sustainable and eco-friendly wedding look.

It’s always the images that get me; the beautiful photography and the intuitive captures. With York Place Studios that’s always the hugest thing. Then there’s Beth and Tim – a couple whose love, laughter and secret glances steal my heart. They’re adorable, romantic, heartwarming and surrounded by everyone they hold dearest at their Star Inn wedding in Harome.

Discovering little gems of wedding venues around the UK is part of the charm of writing a wedding blog. Mostly, I get to explore the nooks and crannies of beautiful old houses and quirky wedding barns through my screen, when lovely couples and photographers submit their weddings for a feature. Occasionally I get to visit a wedding venue and discover it first-hand, and when those venues are a little too far away from my home in the Lakes I’m lucky to have English Wedding team members dotted around the country who can discover them for me!
