When I’m asked about wedding traditions, the one golden oldie I can’t let go of is confetti. I bloody love it: the joyful moment when you’ve said your vows, finished the nervous bit of the day and are finally surrounded by your guests – and then a rainbow of bits of loveliness is released into the sky for you. It looks amazing – it looks like it feels amazing! And you know what? I always find myself grinning back at the screen when I see a brilliant confetti photo. Right now, I have face ache from smiling at the gorgeous pics we’re decorating this blog post with!

I think I’m about to talk about the C word… I mean, we’re just over 9 weeks away, and I know I’m starting to think about fairy lights and baubles – and hey, I LOVE Christmas!!! So today I wanted to introduce you to a really cute idea from new English Wedding members Pink Positive. Their super cute personalised prezzies are such a lovely idea – I hope you’ll love these!

CHRISTMAS GETS PERSONAL FOR BRIDES-TO-BE AND NEWLYWEDS

It has been a whirlwind of a week here at English Wedding HQ! I’ve typed up a 105-page modern calligraphy workbook, written a gold ink wedding table plan and menus for a November wedding, and planned in a bunch of gorgeous real weddings for the autumn – so I’m mega happy it’s Friday today! Having gorgeous couple Charlotte and Dexter on the blog makes it even more special – this is an AMAZING wedding and I just know you’ll love these two – I mean just look at this stunning golden hour photo!!!

Booking your wedding entertainment is a process. There is a lot to think about, but it can also be one of the most enjoyable and exciting parts of your wedding planning!

There is something special about live music in particular at a wedding. It can generate so much energy and emotion in a room. With this in mind, it’s a good idea to put a lot of thought into what questions you ask your wedding venue before you choose your perfect wedding band.

Hey lovelies! I have a super pretty, feminine and romantic wedding to share with you today. Emma & Paul were married at Moxhull Hall Hotel, Sutton Coldfield in the summertime. They were blessed with glorious sunshine, and I especially loved seeing all the handmade decorations Emma had made – there is definitely a blush pink roses / hoops theme going on and together it all looks so pretty!

We have been to lots of weddings where Damian was hired as the photographer. We were absolutely delighted with his photos!!! I got goose bumps when we first saw them,  as Damian captured so many things we missed on the day.
