Good morning! I hope you’ve had the most wonderful weekend. Today I just can’t resist sharing some of the beautiful images lovely Zehra Jagani sent to me a day or two ago. These are from a wedding inspiration shoot which I supplied calligraphy for. The shoot was published on Brides Up North over the summer.

The epic shoot these came from had a Provençal flavour, with dreamy eucalyptus and soft blues and greys – and florals to die for! I love the colours of the calligraphy for a winter wedding though: the soft tones and delicate papers work beautifully for a modern wedding in the colder half of the year.

It’s rather lovely to be sharing a styled wedding shoot with a family focus – today’s images sent in by lovely Pudding & Plum Photography are all the more special for the little face alongside the bride and groom! I know so many of you will be thinking of ways to involve your children at your wedding, and this beautiful shoot includes a little bridesmaid from the very beginning. You know what? It makes me smile SO much – her happy little grin is just adorable! The styling by Worsley Creative is brimming with ideas for you to take away: the cake and treats look divine; the dress is dreamy as anything. And the FLORALS… I have no words! You will LOVE this!

Tess and Tom’s February wedding has so many layers to it: there’s the romance between our gorgeous couple. Then there’s Tess’s Dad’s story (you’ll see what I mean when you start scrolling!), which totally captivated me (and shows just what your wedding day means to the ones you love!) There’s a wonderful camaraderie amongst the beautiful bridesmaids, who shimmer and sparkle through all the photos! And I love how there’s a lovely humour in the day – as Tess puts it, “who doesn’t like a Colin?!

Good morning lovelies! I have a beautiful and very different idea to share with you this morning: a bridal boudoir photoshoot, which was sent in by English Wedding member Emily Andrew Events. Bridal boudoir photography is a lovely idea, I think: there are many female wedding photographers around who do boudoir photography as a confidence boost (and I’ve seen such wonderful reviews of this experience!). Perhaps you’ll find time on your wedding morning to do this; perhaps it’s something you can arrange before the big day. Either way, I hope you’ll find today’s feature inspiring and Emily’s words thought-provoking. The images by Valentine Studio are wonderfully romantic and feminine.

So you’re about to read our best English Wedding interview ever… along with a gorgeous set of photos from a wedding which absolutely inspires me. These guys are just brilliant: Anna and Ollie’s wedding is perfectly THEM: individual, stylish and relaxed. They had 3 venues throughout the day, taking their party from registry office to foodie heaven to party venue. Venue styling simply wasn’t required: instead the focus was on celebrating their love and entertaining their guests! Likewise, Anna avoided bridal boutiques and found her incredible dress on The Outnet. She looks more than amazing – and  blissfully happy, confident and beautiful!
