Inclusion, individuality, and personal expression: European Bridal Week 2026

I’m uniquely placed as a wedding blogger from a wedding business background – and so the behind-the-scenes stories of this industry are something I find really interesting.
Authenticity and transparency are super important in today’s world and especially in weddings: so I’ll be following European Bridal Week with interest. In my inbox this week, a press release from the team behind this mega event, celebrating EBW as “providing a window in to the creativity, craft, and passion that shape contemporary bridal fashion“.
“Our 2026 campaign embraces that artistry, celebrating designers’ creativity and offering visitors an experience that reflects the elegance, innovation, and expressive energy of the bridal industry. It also sends a clear message: in bridal fashion, you can be different; you don’t have to fit into a single frame. Inclusion, individuality, and personal expression are part of the artistry we celebrate.” ~ Siegrid Hampsink, Event Director of European Bridal Week
European Bridal Week are launching a campaign which – according to Event Director Siegrid Hampsink – “reflects a deep understanding of the industry, highlighting the artistry, emotion, and craftsmanship that make European Bridal Week unique. It also reminds everyone that bridal fashion can be inclusive, embracing difference, diversity, and individuality.”
I can get behind all of that – and hats off to the organisers of this event. I look forward to seeing collections celebrating all skin colours and ethnicities, modelled by people of all sizes, genders, shapes and abilities.
Inclusivity is super important in the wedding industry, and I’m curious to see – and share – what European Bridal Week (28 – 30th March 2026) will bring!
