Were you pleased with your wedding photographer? Do tell… we love a brilliant review!
Absolutely. Hannah really captured natural, beautiful, fun and loving moments of both of our Wedding Days; both of us as a couple and of all our guests. Hannah is very talented at working with natural light and capturing nature in the surroundings as well. She made us feel really comfortable in front of the camera. We had an engagement shoot before our Wedding which was great. Hannah is an incredibly talented Photographer and such a warm, lovely person, who was a pleasure to have at both our Wedding days. We would definitely recommend her to anyone.
Videographer details if applicable – and any thoughts for other couples about having a wedding video?
Caitlin Young, One Forever Films.
Tell us about your venue – what made this place special for you?
We had our Asian wedding ceremony at NAKSHATRA WEDDING HALL, FELTHAM, LONDON. Shabba’s parents found this location for us and when we visited it we found it to be perfect for our big Asian Wedding of around 300 guests.
We then had our reception at THE WINCHESTER ROOM at THE TURKS HEAD, TWICKENHAM, LONDON. WE were looking for a pub with a private room with bar and a stage for an evening of karaoke..
Did you hire a florist? Tell us about any floral amazingness
Shabba’s Mum did the flowers for my hair and the garlands which were amazing. She grew these flowers in her own garden. We also bought a decoration package from the venue, which the venue set up. This really transformed the hall.
As cake lovers here at English Wedding we’d LOVE to know who made your cake, and how delicious it was?
Shabba’s Mum and her friends made a selection of treats we all the guests, that are traditional to give at a Tamil Wedding. They worked so hard making all these treats from scratch for hundreds of people in Shabba’s parents’ kitchen.
What was your first dance song? Why did you choose it?
We did not have a first dance at our Asian Wedding. We went with something a little more casual with an open bar and karaoke all night. Needless to say, it was a lot of fun!
