Quintessential and Elegant English Styled Shoot at Notley Abbey

Ahh… welcome to the weekend, lovely. I hope you’re hanging in there and perhaps, even beginning to feel a little Christmassy? (I have a confession to make: I’ve started putting up fairy lights already. And I don’t think they’ll be coming down in January either!) So today we have a stunning inspirational feature to share with you. We’re talking dreamily gentle blues, elegance and show stopping styling touches from a fabulous team of Buckinghamshire wedding suppliers at Notley Abbey. The Butterfly Bridal dress is beautiful, the cake and stationery exquisite, and the floral styling simply out of this world. It’s all captured by lovely Suzy Elizabeth Photography – and your full supplier list is below.

The aim of this shoot was to portray the beautiful and historic Notley Abbey in a real venue style set up, rather than just a showpiece tablescape.
We wanted to combine a classic, elegant and quintessential style with a natural touch. We chose vintage glass and tableware from Vintage Gold China to inspire exquisite table settings, with a gentle hint of blue.
Natural style flowers by Sorcha Herbert, a show stopping cake by Cherry Tree Cakerie, gorgeous stationery by Lynda Athey, delicate bridal accessories by Rachel Sokhal and a romantic gown provided by Butterfly Bridal created the perfect style for a quintessentially English wedding.
