Ahh… welcome to the weekend, lovely. I hope you’re hanging in there and perhaps, even beginning to feel a little Christmassy? (I have a confession to make: I’ve started putting up fairy lights already. And I don’t think they’ll be coming down in January either!) So today we have a stunning inspirational feature to share with you. We’re talking dreamily gentle blues, elegance and show stopping styling touches from a fabulous team of Buckinghamshire wedding suppliers at Notley Abbey. The Butterfly Bridal dress is beautiful, the cake and stationery exquisite, and the floral styling simply out of this world. It’s all captured by lovely Suzy Elizabeth Photography – and your full supplier list is below.
Have you thought about your venue’s best features for the time of year you’re getting married? I’ll show you one photograph – and I promise you will….

Nicola and Ben were married at Notley Abbey in Buckinghamshire this autumn – just as the colours of the season were at their most magical. The venue is out of this world: a fabulous country house dating back to the 13th century.
I fell in love with Danielle and Phung’s Notley Abbey wedding as soon as I saw the images: their vibrant colours and beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony stole my heart. This was an international celebration with family travelling from all over the world. Danielle bought her stunning dress in New York, the table plan was a world map (it’s fab!) and there was a tea ceremony as well as the outdoor wedding and reception.
I adore Notley Abbey for its grounds and grandeur: truly a favourite English wedding venue. Danielle told me, “The setting was amazing, but the small touches such as the flowers, family pictures, and wooden signs added our personal touch.”
