Documentary wedding photography with feeling! London wedding photographer Rik Pennington is all about real moments, captured naturally and sympathetically.

My style is best described as creative documentary wedding photography with contemporary couple portraits, shot sympathetically and naturally. Strong composition and an obsession for finding the light are key to my work, but the emphasis is very much on capturing the real moments of a wedding that create important family memories and I aim to create a memento of the day that be can be cherished long after the day itself has passed.

Check out some of my London wedding photography to get an idea of my style and how I cover weddings. There are so many amazing venues in London, but two of my favourites are undoubtedly Wiltons Music Hall and The Asylum.

I love to travel and shoot all over the UK and I’ve even been as far as New Zealand to cover a wedding. I’ve also made a bit of a home for myself as a France wedding photographer. I’ve been lucky enough to almost consider myself a Dordogne wedding photographer! Last year I was lucky enough to shoot several weddings there, including this Chateau de Lacoste wedding.

So whether it’s a pub in North London or a Chateau in the South of France, I’d love to hear from you!
